As it turns out, this couldn't be further from the truth. This series is undoubtedly one of the most entertaining and exciting anime of the season.

Will and his teammates spend some time in the hospital until they are strong enough to return to their normal activities. There is a mourning period for deceased teachers. Other than that, things are pretty much back to normal at Regarden Magical Academy. Apart from Will and several others who have undergone massive changes, both in terms of their combat ability and their view of the world, everything is relatively the same as it was at the beginning of the series.

He's gained more confidence, his purpose and motivation are clearer than ever, and he's slowly but surely learning how to be a good leader. New characters

Two seemingly important characters are introduced in episode 12. An old man named Aaron Masterias Oldking and a young man named Finn. Aaron is the leader of Magia Vander and is widely regarded as the king of the realm. As the oldest and most experienced member of Magia Vander, she is considered the most powerful magician in the country.

As for Finn, he is the one shrouded in mystery. All we know about him is the fact that he is a member of the Finn Clan, a clan of small people who have lived in a dungeon for generations. They know the dungeon like the back of their hand, which is why anyone who wants to explore the deepest part of the dungeon always hires a Finn as their guide.

New stories

These two new characters also bring some new storylines. As the leader of Magia Vander, old man Aaron will probably reveal some of the secrets behind the fake sky and the tragedy that forced the mages of the past to build a massive protective barrier across the country.

Likewise, Finn has some secrets for us, especially regarding Will Serfort, or as he calls it, “The Sword.” Based on his conversation with the headmaster of Regarden Magical Academy, it seems that information about Will and his rare ability as a swordsman has not been revealed. These two storylines are teasers for the upcoming season and we couldn't be more excited for it.

Road to season 2

Right after the end of the first season, the production team of the anime adaptation immediately announced a second season Wistoria: wand and sword. While details about Season 2 have yet to be revealed, the road to Season 2 has actually been paved this season.

What to expect from season 2

Based on what already happened in Season 1, here's what we can expect from Season 2 Wistoria: mace and sword:

• The secret behind Will's swordsmanship. Based on the flashback in episode 11 and what Finn said in episode 12, it seems like there is a much bigger mystery behind Will's ability and role as a swordsman.
• Satan's organization. For most of Chapter 1, the enemies are either dungeon monsters or other wizards. However, a pair of evil wizards appeared during the All-Student Praxis arc. Based on their larger-than-life purpose, it can be assumed that they belong to some sort of organization and will have a more prominent role in the second season.
• The secret behind the fake sky. The massive barrier that protects the citizens from outside evil is mentioned many times in the first chapter. Considering Magia Vander's concern about the state of the barrier and the fact that the evil mages are planning to smash that “fake sky”, it's clear that there's something more to the barrier, and we can expect some to discover Secrets in the second season

While it is true that the second season of Wistoria: wand and sword Officially confirmed, there is no way to know the exact release date. Season 2 may only be in production for a few months, but it could be years before fans finally get to see the finished product.
