10 League Of Legends Storylines Netflix Should Adapt After Arcane
Arcane may be ending, but it’s only the first chapter. We explore what League of Legends storylines could be next.
Season Two of Arcane picks up where the last one left off, and like the inaugural season, episodes will be released in three Acts, with three coming in each. The character arcs continue to build organically and masterfully and some new characters also get introduced, so here’s who voices everyone.
1
Vi
Hailee Steinfeld
The main heroine of Arcane, Vi, has lots of surprises in store with her character arc just in the first Act of Season Two. She’s still torn between her loyalty to Piltover and Caitlyn and the guilt over what happened to her sister, Jinx. Voicing this beautifully flawed protagonist is none other than Hailee Steinfeld.
Hailee Steinfeld is not new to voicing incredible female characters in the realm of animation, as she was also Gwen Stacy in Sony’s Spider-Verse films.
Another notable Marvel role for Steinfeld is the MCU’s Kate Bishop, debuting in the Disney+ show Hawkeye. You’ll also know her as Charlie Watson from Bumblebee, Emily Junk from Pitch Perfect 2 and 3, Nadine from The Edge of Seventeen, and Emily Dickinson from Apple TV+’s Dickinson series.
2
Jinx
Ella Purnell
The blue-haired sister of Vi, Jinx, has a tragic backstory in Arcane. She and Vi were once partners in crime when they were younger, and her name used to be Powder. Now, Jinx has become a whole new personality altogether, one more antagonistic and ruthless that drives her and her sister further apart.

The animated series returns with one hell of an opening act.
Voicing the broken soul that is Jinx is Ella Purnell. If you’ve seen Prime Video’s live-action Fallout series, you’ll know her as Vault 33’s ‘Okey-Dokey’ Lucy MacLean. She’s also Jackie in the TV show Yellowjackets and the lead character, Rhiannon, in Starz’s Sweetpea miniseries. Another voice-acting role of Purnell’s you may recognize her for is Gwyn from Star Trek: Prodigy.
3
Caitlyn Kiramman
Katie Leung
Caitlyn’s character is as important as Vi and Jinx in Season Two. She’s still struggling with the trauma of losing both her parents, fulfilling her duty as an Enforcer, and living up to the Kiramman family name, as well as dealing with her romantic feelings toward Vi while stopping at nothing to bring down her sister, Jinx, especially since she’s now been promoted to Commander.
Katie Leung has the honor of voicing sharpshooter Enforcer Caitlyn Kiramman. Leung is perhaps most famous for portraying Cho Chang in the Harry Potter films from Goblet of Fire to Deathly Hallows Parts 1 and 2. She also co-starred with Jackie Chan in the 2017 film The Foreigner, played Ash in Prime Video’s The Peripheral and Yasicca in The Wheel of Time, and voiced Rose Tico in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
4
Jayce Talis
Kevin Alejandro
A scientist and inventor dealing in all things Hextech, like his trusty hammer weapon that saves the day, and also part of the Council of Piltover, Jayce Talis returns in Season Two. He’s monitoring Viktor’s status in the first part of the new season and continuing to be his all-around charming self.
Kevin Alejandro voices the Netflix series version of the tech-savvy League of Legends champion. While this is his sole voice-acting credit, he’s best known for his roles as Detective Dan Espinoza in Lucifer and Manny Perez in Fire Country. He was also Sebastian Blood in CW’s Arrow, Jesus Velasquez in True Blood, and Detective Nate Moretta in Southland.
5
Mel Medarda
Toks Olagundoye
Mel hails from the Medarda Clan and is a more royal figure sitting on Piltover’s council, and she’s also romantically involved with Jayce. The start of Season Two continues to explore the rocky relationship between her and her mother and brings some exciting new developments to her character arc, including the Black Rose.
Toks Olagundoye is the voice behind Mel, and she’s voiced a ton of characters across video games and animation. These include Zamfir in Netflix’s Castlevania, Mrs. Beakley in Disney XD’s DuckTales, Countess Cleo in Carmen Sandiego, and Carnán in Middle-Earth: Shadow of War.
In live-action, you can see Olagundoye as Professor Olivia Finch in the 2023 Frasier revival series, Hayley Shipton in Castle, Leesie Janes in Shameless, and Fiona Ryan in The Rookie.
6
Ambessa Medarda
Ellen Thomas
Ambessa Medarda is the warlord mother of Mel, who won’t be up for any ‘Mother of the Year’ awards anytime soon. She’s decisive and always ready for battle and even installs Caitlyn as a Commander to lead the army going to war against Zaun. Voicing this powerful figure from League of Legends lore is Ellen Thomas.

Other notable roles of hers include Liz Webb in the 2000s British TV comedy Teachers, Mama in Idris Elba’s TV series In the Long Run, Esther Daniels in Silent Witness, and Violet Butterfield in Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris.
7
Viktor
Harry Lloyd
Viktor is the close confidant and research partner of Jayce Talis, who is going through changes in Arcane’s second season. His character has a disability that causes him to use a special cane to get around, but the change his body undergoes from resting inside a wall of Hextech sees him becoming something new entirely, a mechanical healer of sorts. And his voice actor is Harry Lloyd.
Lloyd will be forever infamous for playing Daenerys’ brother, the ill-fated, arrogant, and cruel Viserys Targaryen, in Game of Thrones and was even the narrator for George R.R. Martin’s A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and The Rise of the Dragon audiobooks.
He’s also Charles Xavier in the TV show Legion, Bernard Marx in Brave New World, Ultima in FF16, Z in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and Yulzim Yorden in The DioField Chronicle.
8
Sevika
Amirah Vann
One of the most important criminal enforcers residing in the undercity of Zaun, Sevika’s story continues in Season Two of Arcane. With Silco dead, she begins to align herself more with Jinx and is gifted a new slot machine-style mechanical arm that comes in very handy during an intense showdown with the chem-baron Smeech.
Amirah Vann lends her voice to Arcane’s Sevika, but you may otherwise know her as Tegan Price in How to Get Away with Murder, Ernestine in WGN America’s Underground, Kim Valentine in Apple TV+’s The Changeling, Hattie Mae in Tyler Perry’s A Jazzman’s Blues, Justine Simon in Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and the Notorious B.I.G., and Diahann Carroll in Netflix’s Shirley.
9
Ekko
Reed Shannon
Ekko is yet another champion in League of Legends whose story gets explored in Netflix’s Arcane. You get to see him as a little boy interacting with Vi and Powder in the first season and now being Heimerdinger’s new apprentice in Season Two. And besides League of Legends and Arcane, Ekko is also the playable protagonist of the narrative-driven League Metroidvania, Convergence: A League of Legends Story.

New Characters – Maddie Nolen, Loris, And Isha
Katy Townsend, Earl Baylon, Eve Lindley, And Lucy Lowe
The first part of Arcane’s second season introduced some new protagonists, whose relationships with characters in Piltover and Zaun will be critical throughout the rest of the series. Two are Enforcer characters rolling with Vi and Caitlyn, Maddie Nolen and the quiet giant Loris, as well as an orphaned child named Isha who takes a liking to Jinx.
Katy Townsend voices Junior Officer Maddie, and some of her past voice work includes Dr. Suvi Anwar in Mass Effect: Andromeda, Cait in Fallout 4, and Operator Charly in Call of Duty. Meanwhile, the voice of Loris, Earl Baylon, is Jonah Maiava in the Tomb Raider reboot series and the Netflix anime The Legend of Lara Croft. He’s also Lyle Bolton (aka Lock-Up) in Batman: Arkham Shadow.
Lucy Lowe is a child voice actor who’s already amassed a number of roles at such a young age. Prior to Isha in Arcane, she voiced Scallop in Netflix’s Not Quite Narwhal, Sadie Bolter in an episode of Young Jedi Adventures, and Director in the Season 18 episode ‘Productive Panic’ of American Dad! She also has additional credits in Disney’s Wish and What If…?
11
Heimerdinger
Mick Wingert
Former council member Cecil B. Heimerdinger and professor at the University of Piltover is as scientific and intellectual as a cute Yordle species like him could be. He has a strong stance against arcane magic that his former mentee, Jayce, is a huge proponent of exploring, and his fun Einstein-y spoofed voice continues to come from the brilliance of Mick Wingert.
Mick Wingert is an accomplished voice actor with credits that encompass some of the most iconic characters. He takes over the voice of Po for Jack Black in the Kung Fu Panda TV series, games, and specials, as well as Slappy in Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween and the Goosebumps Dead of Night video game.
Wingert is also Tony Stark/Iron Man in various Marvel projects including Avengers Assemble and What If…?, Koslow in Attack on Titan, and Mayor Kapono in FF7 Rebirth.
Mick Wingert also voices Heenot in Arcane.
12
Singed
Brett Tucker
Singed is an established champion in League of Legends whose story continues in Season Two, and he starts to resemble his video game counterpart. He was a close ally of Silco’s and has now been conducting some new experiments in Zaun. The final moments of Episode Three teased his latest creation, Warwick, a wolf-type creature that will have a major impact in Act 2 and beyond.

Surprisingly, Arcane is actor Brett Tucker’s first voice credit.
13
Salo
Josh Keaton
Councilor Salo is the least likeable character sitting on the Piltover Council, as he’s your definition of an overprivileged and cold aristocrat. Yet, Salo’s character has a very special Spider-Man voice actor behind him (and Marvel in general) – Josh Keaton.
Keaton has voiced Peter Parker and Spidey in The Spectacular Spider-Man series, Edge of Time game, and the Shattered Dimensions game as Ultimate Spider-Man. He was also the villain Electro in Insomniac’s Spider-Man and Norman Osborn in Disney XD’s Spider-Man. Plus, he’s also Tony Stark in Iron Man VR, Midnight Suns, and Marvel Rivals, Captain America in What If…? and X-Men ’97, Ocelot in MGS3, and Carter Diaz in the underrated Star Trek: Resurgence.
Josh Keaton also voices Deckard in Arcane’s first season, as well as the Customs Agent and Gorgeous Man.
14
Shoola
Mara Junot
Last but not least to be mentioned here is Shoola, Arcane’s final surviving member of the Piltover Council. She has the best character design in all the council, marked by her necklace and other accessories, and her voice actor also happens to be a veteran in the industry. It’s none other than Mara Junot.
Junot is most famous for being the Marvel hero Storm in Midnight Suns, Marvel Rivals, and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order. Other notable characters include Sindel in Mortal Kombat 1 and Mortal Kombat 11, Operator Zeyna Ossou in Call of Duty, the Valkyrie Mist in God of War Ragnarok, a Player voice in Remnant 2, and post-Season 13 Ikora Rey in Destiny 2.
