broken space The long-awaited first story DLC for Bethesda Game Studio's open-air RPGStarfieldsees players travel to an isolated and top-secret star system that is the capital of the mysterious and mysterious House of Va'ruun. Players can expect to find powerful new weapons, new missions and all new characters in this exciting new story.
Players can start Shattered Space DLC for Starfield By jumping to any random star system that has no other missions or activities. When the player enters, they receive a mysterious transmission that begins the first quest of the DLC's main story, What Remains. What Remains is a fairly simple quest, but it has some tricky parts, so let's take a look at how to complete What Remains and find all four items. Syracuse logsand get the What Remains achievement.
How to start what remains
Jump to any star system without effort or activity where it is waiting to receive a transmission. Then, fly to the Oracle star station and dock with it to begin the quest.
Explore Oracle
Inside Oracle is a fairly standard station, but exploration is made more difficult by the fact that everyone is in zero-G. It's worth exploring here as there's all sorts of goodies in the ship's various rooms, from weapons and ammo to suits and helmets – and heaps of credits too.
There is only one way forward, and it leads to a story scene involving two scientists, Basira and Sirac. Loot Basira's access card and then go to the appropriate station. At this point, there will be an update to the mission that grants the main and optional objective.
However, there's no need to delay the main objective until after the optional objective, as they're easier to complete along the way. Attempting to complete the optional objective first will not work and will be a source of frustration as Entry #4 is inaccessible without entering the engineering control bay.
Find the engineering bay controls
This objective is easy enough, as it is marked with a mission objective on the HUD. Follow it to find it, then interact with the card reader to find an updated target.
Sirak registration number 1
The first logs about Sirak can be found right next to the main mission objective, but the player is prevented from continuing due to security doors. Pick up the log and return to the main room with all the blue glowing pieces to find the second log and advance the quest.
Find an engineering bay access card
After entering the main room, head to the large space directly ahead, where there is a large glowing ball of blue stuff surrounding a snake statue. There are some Vortex Phantoms here, so be careful, but they shouldn't pose too much of a threat.
Sirak registration number 2
Log #2 Sirak is just down the main shaft above a lecture. Pick it up and go to the mission objective.
Move through the dining hall/cafeteria type room and exit at the other end where the hallway ends at a security door. There is a closed orange door next to the security door. Go through it and enter the hydroponics room. Float down to the bottom of this room to find the path blocked by boxes.
Move the boxes
Go up the stairs to the small room on the right and enter it, then push the buttons to remove the crates blocking the way forward. Pressing button 1 releases a Phantom Vortex. Go through the open space to find a hatch guarded by another Phantom Vortex.
Move in a residential area
The hatch leads to a residential area. This area has decent loot, including some locked safes, and science notes, so it's worth the loot. Once that's done, float all the way up to find a control room type area.
List No. 3 Sirak
Sirak's log number 3 will be on the right, inside an apartment type room. This close to that a mission objective should appear.
Get the access card
Just ahead along the same corridor is an office space. This office space contains the access card to the engineering bay, but also has some nice weapons and other things to loot. Go back down the corridor and open the security door for a shortcut to the engineering bay.
Access the engineering bay
Go back through the cafeteria to the engineering bay. Retrieving the access card will spawn a few Vortex Phantoms on the way, so watch out for the attack. Once in the engineering bay, unlock the door.
Restore power
Try to restore power, then climb to the top of the engineering bay. The way forward will be locked with a security door, but just on the other side of the room is an additional room.
Sirak list number 4
Sirac's List #4 is on a table next to a computer in the next room. Grab it, then look for a door that leads to another hallway.
Find the electrical outlet
Move through the corridors and enter a room full of floating garbage bags. Then, at the end, go into a storage room full of floating bits and pieces. At the end of this room is an electrical outlet waiting for a Power Cell. This requires every Power Cell, so there's no need to find a new one, but there's a Power Cell hidden in the floating debris anyway.
Activate Gravity
A security door will open, so go through it and watch the scene with Sirak. Then use the computer to reactivate the attraction at the station. Using the booster pack, go to the main power controls and turn on the secondary power.
Go to Action Center
Return to the main room and head to the operations center. After the scene ends Sirac will attack. Kill Sirak and the other Phantoms, then make sure to loot Sirak for the Operation Access Card.
Restart the mainframe
Go to the computer to restart the mainframe, then wait for the scenes to finish. This station is transferred to the home system of the Varven House. The quest should be completed and you will get a decent amount of XP and credits. Make sure to loot the industrial crate inside the operations center as well, as it holds some good credits. Completing What Remains for the first time in an unmodified save will help with that broken space What remains is the achievement.
