What’s open in VIC, QLD, NSW, ACT this long weekend: Coles, Woolworths, Kmart and BWS

Aussies across the country are gearing up for a relaxing few days as another long weekend appearoaches.

Commonly referred to as the “October long weekend”, the ACT, New South Wales, South Australia, Queensland and some parts of Tasmania will all have a public holiday on Monday, October 2.

Victorians are also in luck as many will have the day off on Friday ahead of the AFL Grand Final, where Collingwood will face Brisbane at the MCG on Saturday.

When every public holiday rolls around, it’s always a bit confusing what stores will be open, to make it a little easier, we’ve checked the trading hours for some of the big retailers so you’re not caught short.
