The new Game Plus (NG+) mode offers much more than just a stronger alloy – it offers more reasons to return to the adventure. Here are some key features to expect:
- Cosmetic Awards: Completing NG+ unlocks new face colors and focus skins. The number of unlocked cosmetics depends on the difficulty setting, and the highest difficulty is to unlock all available items.
- Efficient start: NG+ skips the game intro and takes you straight into the main mission “Spear Point”.
- Exclusive prizes: Two cups in Horizon Zero Dawn Only available through NG+.
- Reset Hunting Grounds: You can redo all Hunting Grounds challenges, as previous scores reset.
- Ghost Levels: After reaching level 60, players can earn up to 50 soul levels. These levels don't affect the gameplay, but they show your dedication.
New skilled weapons and armor
NG+ introduces a new layer of weapons and armor called “Adept”. This fourth tier includes an additional modification slot per item, giving them an edge over their standard counterparts. However, there are no Adept versions of the Shield-Weaver outfit or the Tearblaster and Sylens' Lance weapons.
