World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Classic Rage of the Firelands is about to release its highly anticipated update. It will be a true copy of the same wow which existed in June 2011, where players could breach Ragnaros' own molten realm and put an end to his plans once and for all.
On October 29th of this year, Cataclysm Classic players will be able to embark on an epic quest to rescue Thrall, the former Warchief of the Horde. But traveling between Azeroth and the planes beyond to save the World Shaman is the easy part. When November 7th rolls around, World of Warcraft: Classic With the release of the expansion's second-to-last raid, Firelands, it really turns up the heat.

Ragnaros has long been the iconic antagonist of WoW
After the likes of the Lich King, Ragnaros the Firelord is perhaps second World of WarcraftThis overlord's most iconic baddie is a lava-filled elemental among a handful of premium bosses that confront players in two separate raids. Early vanilla and when Wow: ClassicThe first iteration was released, players were trying to shut down Ragnaros in the Molten Core attack and really prove their mettle.
As one of the four elemental lords, Ragnarös can only be permanently killed in his realm in the Firelands, hence his reappearance in Cataclysm. This time, he allied with Deathwing to end life on Azeroth, and he atop Nordrasil, the World Tree atop Mount Hyjal. Teaming up with mortals, dragons, and wild gods, players must ensure that mass destruction does not reach this sacred font of power.
Epic mountains await the Firelands attack
However, to truly finish the fight, players must penetrate the Fire Domain itself and face any elemental horrors. Filled with giant creatures made of stone and ash and liquid monsters made of magma, Firelands features seven unique bosses. Two of these bosses drop fire mounts, including Ragnaros himself, who has a chance to give lucky players the Pureblood Firehawk, a phoenix made of true flames.
The Raid meta-achievement will also be available at this time, which consists of several smaller achievements that challenge players to complete additional cool metrics when fighting each boss. Called “Glory of the Firelands Raider,” the game rewards the re-purple of the mountain left by Ragnarös, known as the Corrupted Firehawk. For those who doubt to win in the previous version, Glory of the Firelands Raider is the best option to get the Phoenix base.
The Legendary Questline is open to all Caster classes
What's even more exciting than the actual raid is the legendary staff that accompanies it. The questline to obtain the Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest, encourages the player to travel around and help the Blue Dragonflight along the way. Defeating Deathwing requires the power of all five dragon aspects, so a new blue aspect must be chosen after Malygos dies in Wrath of the Lich King. Conspiracies and tragedies abound in this exciting yet challenging adventure, but the rewards are worth it. Dragonwrath allows players to transform into a figure of the dragon Tarecgosa, which itself acts as a unique flying mount.
Amazing new content for an old development
Even before November 7th, additional challenges await in the form of Elemental Rune Dungeons that were not present in the original Cataclysm. As an added bonus, players who are not yet level 85 have nothing to fear, as a 50% experience buff will help them enter the Firelands in no time. As Rage of the Firelands comes World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Classicall players can experience this epic journey once again.
