After reviewing internal data, we've decided to slightly adjust the number of players in Area 99, Resurgence's newest map.
The updated number of players is as follows:
- Quadruple: 44 → 40
- Triple: 45 → 42
- Binary: 44 → 40
- Singles: 45 → 40
These changes aim to improve the overall speed of each match and reduce the frequency of third-party interruptions during interactions. We hope to reduce friction by better balancing action and player agency, allowing players to have the all-important time to loot – and get their Loadout.
In the meantime, we'll continue to monitor feedback and data to make further adjustments as needed.
