The subject of love is one that has fascinated and frustrated artists, poets and scientists for thousands of years. The result is that it creates many narratives about the strange circumstances from which love can spring. Some of the most fascinating love stories come from romantic relationships between good and evil.

Mortal Kombat 1: 5 Evil Characters Who Got Good
With the realms recreated in Liu Kang's perspective, many of the former villains in Mortal Kombat 1 are no longer evil.
These can be fun, in part because of the idea of love as this all-conquering force. Sometimes love can overcome any obstacle, sometimes it is just a false pretense through which another agenda is carried out. However, under different circumstances, these characters can find themselves romantically involved with the heroes.
5 Maria Thorpe
Love with a crossed star
Assassin's Creed

As a direct example of this type of character, Maria was an English noblewoman who was a Templar, in love with Altair, a Shamian assassin, who acted in direct opposition to the Templars. Maria first met her future fiancé when she was used by her superiors as bait to lure Altair, although the killer did not kill Maria. Maria is notably a tomboyish character who participates in fights and sometimes acts as a man, as women are not allowed to participate in combat. Unfortunately, for a long time, he channeled his motivation to fight for honor into the crusades. That said, once he aligned with Altair, he was able to act as his voice of reason.
Maria inadvertently gave Altair information about the Templar Order while they were still technically enemies. Eventually, Maria opposed the New World Order, the ultimate goal of the Temples, and knowingly allied herself directly with Altair. After killing Altair, Armand Bouchard, Grand Master of the Templar Order, moved in with Maria. The couple married and had two sons, the youngest of whom, Seph, was Desmond Miles' maternal ancestor. Unfortunately, siding with the heroes didn't save Maria's life, as she was killed by Swami, another member of the Levantine Brotherhood of Assassins, who rose to power as the organization became corrupt and he forgot his beliefs. Altair was deeply affected by his death until the end of his life.
4 Benny
Enemy with benefits
Fallout: New Vegas

Sometimes the gender of the player's avatar can significantly change the path of romantic characters. Although recent games have gotten better at representing different genders, it's still a fact that some characters only go for a certain gender, which can change the gameplay. Therefore, certain characters are only available to a certain gender of partners. One of the following examples is Bani, from Fallout: New Vegas.
Benny is one of Mr. House's underlings, as he was part of one of the tribes that supported his control of Vegas. This gave him control and access to House technology, while the opposition was displaced and suffered death and starvation. However, this newfound power still wasn't enough for him, and he actively plots to take over New Vegas under House's watch. His dual nature makes him disliked by almost everyone who knows him.
Although he is played by the late Matthew Perry, who was known for his roles in films and television with an emphasis on romance, Benny is probably one of his least romantic characters. He first confronts the Courier Six and shoots them in the head to steal the package they were delivering, which isn't exactly ideal. However, a courier, especially one with Black Widow's privileges, can sleep with him anyway. He will be somewhat confused as to why someone like Pike, who is against him, would want to sleep with him, but he will eventually take the player to his room if he wants to.
This can be pretending to kill him in the Las Vegas strip, although the player can leave him alone after the deed if he wishes. This leads to him subsequently being found in Caesar's tent, where his exact fate is once again left up to the player. Although the relationship is far from loving, the player can do more to ensure Benny's release from the Legion, but after this point, they will never see him again.
3 Megara
Romantic boss character
Hades

Hades It makes the most of the repetitive aspects of its structure. This is achieved in part through the affinity system, which allows Zagreus to form bonds with characters he consistently meets across the game's four levels and the hub world. One of these characters is Megara, the angry eldest sister. He is tasked by Hades to help deal with the affairs of the underworld and torture offenders. To this end, he is tasked with fighting Zagros, who is the first boss in the game he must face before escaping Tartarus.
This boss fight can be different once enough. Frustrated by Megara's incompetence, Hades occasionally swaps her for one of her younger and more intimidating sisters, Electo or Tisiphone, neither of whom are allowed in Hades' household. It is also possible to fight all three rages at the same time.

5 Video Game Antagonists That Aren't Actually Evil
Although these video game characters have unpleasant potential and act against the player, none of them can be called truly evil.
When Zagreus made his initial attempts to leave the Underworld, Megara grew cold towards him. However, when Zagros began to rebuild his relationship with his father, he and Megara managed to repair their friendship. Depending on the player's actions, the story can progress. Megaera's maximum affinity allows her to romance Zagreus, which the player can accept. Moreover, these two options are non-exclusive. Megaera is one of the three favorites of Zagreus. Most importantly, Megara can have a polyamorous relationship with Zagreus and Thanatos, provided that Zagreus has maximized his attachment to the pair and established separate romances with each of them.
2 Gangrel
Crazy in love with the king
Fire sign: Awakening

- February 4, 2013
“Mad King” Gangrel is the first main villain Fire sign: Awakening. He is the original ruler of Pelagia who started out as a common thief. Ostensibly of noble birth, he gained power by allying himself with Grimleal, a religious sect centered around the fallen dragon Grima. Although not a fan of the sect, Gangrel used their influence to maintain his position, considering himself “Grimleil in name only”.
For the first stretch of awakeninghe makes an active effort to create war. The end result is a lot of needless bloodshed that ends with his possible death. He is known to treat his subordinates badly and enjoys the cruelty his power gives him. His gruff speech and initial appearance also contrast with the behavior of most rulers in the game, possibly highlighting his background as a low-class criminal. His actions led to Illisin Exalt, Emryn, attempting to commit suicide in a botched game to prevent further war. Although he survived, the fall he took in the attempt left him with severe brain damage and left him oblivious. He was also presumed dead before he was potentially retrieved by the shepherds.

8 characters of the game fight against misogyny
These fighting game characters don't just have dark tendencies, they have a full evil version of themselves as their game characters.
After the likely death of Gangrel himself, he joins a crew of Ylissean pirates led by a madman known as Zant. Here, the pirate mistreated him and instilled in him all the horrible selfish acts he committed. Despite all the suffering Crom suffered at his hands, he is still able to recruit Gangrel by speaking to the fallen king on three separate occasions. The end result is Gangrel agreeing that he would rather die for Chrome's cause than work under Zant. His fate after the war is uncertain, and the only consensus is that he died “within a few years.”
Despite all this, Gangrel is able to find love with the female Robin and also father her son Morgan. After a series of support dialogues where Gangrel tries to scout her for her purposes, a potential final support dialogue can be unlocked if Robin is not married. In this conversation, Gangrel reveals that her requests were more than just a pretense to ask Robin for her hand in marriage. Although somewhat nervous, Robin eventually accepts, claiming that he is “honored” to share his life with her. Staring at her fiancé, she asks how “he got caught [him] to love [her]And he claims that if he wants to make a new man out of him, it will work. Her exact fate in this timeline of events is unclear, but as with every other partner taken by Robin's incarnation, researchers agree that she loved him above. Everything else
1 Dahlia Hawthorne
A toxic relationship
- was published
- February 7, 2012
Although there is a tumultuous nature to college romances, few have been as disastrous as Phoenix Wright's relationship with Dahlia Hawthorne. Hawthorne was a deeply selfish woman who committed several murders to cover up her crimes. He was notably involved as a witness and the ultimate culprit in Mia Fey's first two trials. He poisoned the coffee of Mia's colleague and boyfriend, Diego Armando, causing him to fall into a coma for several years after his murder.
She achieved this by using a bottle necklace with poison stolen from her boyfriend Doug Prasto. He subsequently planted this evidence as a “love gift” on an illiterate young man named Phoenix Wright. He intended to kill Wright, but his almost identical twin, Iris, convinced him to just take the necklace back. To this end, Iris switched places with her sister and developed a real-life romance with Wright. However, this did not stop Hawthorne from using this pretense for his own selfish purposes.
Frustrated by her sister's inability to retrieve the necklace, Dahlia tried to poison Wright's cold medicine. However, Swallow Dog wanted to warn Wright about his girlfriend's dual nature. Unfortunately, this only enrages Wright, who pushes Doug away and runs away, before Dahlia electrocutes him with electrical cables around him.
This made Wright the prime suspect in the murder, and Mia Fey acted as his defense attorney. Although it took a lot of effort on Mia's part to get Wright out of her control, she managed to prove that Dahlia was guilty, and she was eventually executed. The whole incident was very traumatic for Wright, and as a result he refused to talk to anyone for a long time. From that point on, Phoenix devoted himself to studying law and was supported by Mia Fay before her untimely death. Phoenix later learned the truth about his love for Iris, which Phoenix was unaware of until years later.
