LONDON: The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees has praised the Refugee Olympic Team for its achievements at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, where it became the largest refugee team in history and won its first Olympic medal. Composed of 37 athletes competing in 12 sports, ROT represents the aspirations of 120 million displaced people worldwide.
