As any Fortnite fan is well aware by now, we're just days away from the end of Remix, which caps Season 5 and ushers in a whole new era for Fortnite. Although Epic Games usually likes to keep its cards close to its chest, since we already know the theme and some of the Battle Pass characters, this isn't a high priority for Season 6.

Although some of the mystery found in Season 5 (which gave us Lego Fortnite, Fortnite Festival, and Rocket Race) is not here, it doesn't stop us all from wondering about a lot of surprises for the next season. As it turns out, there's a lot more about Season 6 that was recently revealed by a leaked gameplay trailer.
Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 trailer was leaked
Over on Twitter, reliable Fortnite member ShiinaBR shared the leaked gameplay trailer, which comes from Twitter user Guille_GAG. The intro trailer was supposed to be shown after Fortnite Remix: The Finale, but it was shared a few days ahead of schedule by insiders who somehow had access to it.
The launch trailer gives us our best look yet at the Season 6 map and shows just how much the new theme has changed things up. Most importantly, it shows us what's new in terms of gameplay. One of the first new things shown are some improved parkour mechanics, as a player is shown rolling off a large jump and then being able to climb a wall. Also, a little later in the trailer, we see jumping over the wall.
Baymax is also featured in the trailer and can be heard punching. I guess that means Baymax is as powerful as Eminem and can talk on the island.
We then see a katana melee weapon being used, which will likely be one of the new legendary weapons around the map. The trailer also draws a lot of attention to a blue bubble that follows the player around and can apparently be used to create shields for the player and other nearby allies.
In addition to highlighting some large bosses that can be fought around the map, Fortnite Chapter 6 also appears to introduce masks that can be worn and used for special powers, such as a fire mask that lets you It lets you, you guessed it, shoot fireballs. And of course, the trailer ends just as Godzilla arrives to shake the ground and roar, confirming the leak that he's a boss character.
