North Blue, as its name suggests, is the northern part of the Blue Sea. It has an interesting history that has been explored to some extent. In the past, the Blue North was run by the infamous Vinsmoke family. The family's dominance meant that everything in the Blue North happened according to the Vinsmokes' wishes.

The Northern Blue was also the birthplace of Montblanc Noland, a prominent explorer who ended up in the fiction books for all the wrong reasons. Other than Noland, North Blue has produced some of the strongest characters each piece.

7 Carrasso

The commander of the northern army of the revolutionaries

Karaso is the commander of the northern forces of the Revolutionary Army. He is a laconic person who keeps to himself and speaks only when necessary. Carasso is from the Blue North, but it is not known on which island he was born.

He possesses the Susu Susu no Mi, a Logia-type Devil Fruit that allows him to create soot at will. He can use this power in a variety of ways, making him difficult to defeat in battle. As one of the top commanders of the Revolutionary Army, Carasso knows how to use Haki's weapons and observation. His greatest feat so far was fighting Admiral Fujitora in Marijuwa and coming out unscathed.

6 Vista

The commander of the fifth division of the white beard pirates

Vista was the commander of the 5th division of the Whitebeard Pirates. He joined the crew decades ago and stayed by his captain's side until his death. Given that he had been with the crew for so long, it was obvious that he must have clashed swords with many talented warriors.

Vista uses two swords in battle and her attacks produce flower petals. Whether or not these are the results of a devil fruit remains unknown. He fought Dracul Mihawk in Marineford and was able to match him without any problems. The strongest swordsman in the world even admitted that Vista was a great fighter and only a fool had never heard of her.

The current status of Vista is unknown.

5 Sanjay

One of the best fighters in one piece

Sanji was born to Vinsmoke Judge and Sora. Of all the siblings, Sanjay was the most human. This caused him to fail in the eyes of the judge, which is why he eventually left the place and found his way to the East Blue.

Sanji is one of the strongest members of the Straw Hat Pirates. He excels in close combat which suits his fighting style. Sanji has genetic modifications that make him stronger and faster than most One Piece characters. Sanji is also adept at using Observation Haki, second only to Luffy in skill.

4 Trafalgar Law

Trafalgar Law was born in the town of Fluvans in the North Blue. This city was famous for its beauty due to the presence of white lead. However, this resource soon became a problem for the townspeople as it sickened them and led to their destruction. Love managed to escape and eventually joined Doflamingo's crew. Law remained with them until Corazon took him with him and he saved his life by giving him the Ope no Mi.

The Devil Fruit not only helped Lau heal himself, but also made him strong enough to fend off any potential threats. Lau became very adept at using the Devil Fruit and eventually awakened it. His greatest feat was to defeat Grandmother with the help of Eustace Kidd.

3 Ben Beckman

Ben Beckman is Shanks' right hand man. Ben Beckman, unlike his captain who was born in West Blue, is from the North Ocean. He is also known as one of the smartest characters in One Piece.

Ben Beckman has never shown his full strength in a fight, but there have been instances where he has allowed the audience to form their own opinion. In the Marineford arc, he was able to momentarily stop Kizaru. Some time later, he was able to defeat Eustass Kid and even cut off his left hand. As the story progresses towards the final epic, the audience gets a better understanding of his full power.

2 Kizaro

One of the oldest serving marines

Kizaro is one of the oldest marines in One Piece, so he has a lot of experience. Very little is known about his past. Other than that, he was born in the Blue North and joined the Marines at 26 with Sakazuki.

Kizaru is an excellent fighter who has mastered the use of his Devil Fruit. Pika Pika no Mi gives him control of the light element. His attacks are so powerful that just one hit means the lights go out for the opponent. Kizaru is also adept at using hockey weapons, as shown in the Marineford and Egghead bows.

1 Sakazuki

Sakazuki is the current Admiral of the Marine Corps. He earned this position after defeating his colleague Admiral Kuzan in a fierce battle at Punk Hazard. Sakazuki is known as one of the most dangerous people in One Piece and this is mainly due to his ruthless nature.

He was born in the blue north on an unknown island. Judging from Oda's art of the young Sakazuki, it seems that he had a difficult childhood. Sakuzuki possesses the Magu Magu no Mi, a Logia-type Devil Fruit that gives him complete mastery over magma. Devil Fruit has one of the highest offensive powers in One Piece, allowing it to bypass the toughest defenses with no problem.
