Upon reaching the platform at the top of the broken staircase, players will find a crazed guard. by using Dragon Age: The Protector Companion synergy, then claim the third treasure chest in Elven Ruins.

The ruins of Al-Makan, Treasure No. 4

After defeating the mad guard at the door Dragon Age: The ProtectorGrab the Power Crystal with the two energy nodes next to the door, then:

• Place it on the energy node by the east door.
• Go to the back door and go to the top of the building inside.
