Hall of Secrets offers one of the few Harry Potter Christmases When No One Dies, and the Golden Trio spend the holidays taking Polyjuice Potions to transform into two Slytherin boys, Crabbe and Goyle, in order to find information about the Heir of Slytherin from Draco Malfoy. It's a funny and light-hearted Christmas, although the danger the trio faces grows closer as tensions rise over the Hall of Secrets and victims begin to be claimed one by one.
It's a very stressful Christmas for Harry, who is on a quest to find the true heir of Slytherin in order to clear his name. His ability to speak the Parsel language had caused the suspicion of those around him. Although this development didn't work out for the trio, this Christmas is still a fun and heartwarming episode of the show.

Harry's Christmas at the Barrow is admirable for several reasons. It shows his growing relationship with Ginny Weasley, as well as his last normal Christmas before the start of the Second Wizarding War.
The scene shows all the traditional coziness of a Weasley Christmas, before quickly transitioning to Remus and Tonks talking to Harry about a plot against Dumbledore.
