Oo Zap |

Tornado |
3 |
Mega Minion |

lumberjack |
4 |
night witch |

thunder and lightning |
6 |
golem |

In this deck, you pair Golem with two of its strongest supports, Night Witch and Lumberjack. This deck is all about making a big push from behind your king rook. This is a slow and methodical deck that plays defense in the early game and destroys the enemy tower as soon as phase two Elixir starts.
For the early game, you'll want to use your warstick and mega minion to defend against anything the enemy puts down. You have three spells in this deck—Evo Zap, Tornado, and Lightning—which gives you a lot of potential to excel. However, avoid using Lightning too much in the early game, as it costs a lot of your Elixir bar. Every bit of elixir counts if you want this deck to work.
Evo Bomber is your secret weapon in this deck. It can act as a secondary win condition if you're having trouble with your Golem pressures. Use the Tornado wisely to line up the Evo Bomber arrows on the enemy tower to deal a lot of damage every time you go in.
This deck uses Cannoneer Tower forces.
Pump Golem Two Dragons
Golem decks tend to get a lot of skins due to being 1D. If you feel the same way, Pump Golem Two Dragons It might suit you. It's a very versatile deck with a relatively low average elixir cost despite being used in such heavy range conditions.
Here are the cards you need for this deck.
Card name |
Elixir cost |

The main idea behind this deck is to not play Golem at all during the single elixir phase. Instead, you want to play defense while placing as many elixir collectors behind your princess towers as possible. This will either force your opponent to spend elixir to take out elixir collectors, or pressure you to pressure you.
This deck is great on defense, with Baby Dragon taking out mobs and Infernal Dragon holding cards like Hog Rider or Pekka. Skeletons and minions allow you to deal massive damage or distract enemy forces. Once you've established an elixir lead, you can start pushing with a golem behind.
When you come in with the Golem, place the Infernal Dragon and Baby Dragon behind it. Use Poison on the enemy tower and Evo Zap to kill any cards your opponent uses to take out the Golem. By the time your opponent defends a golem push, you'll have enough elixir stored to come in once again with a new golem on the back.
Both Dagger Duchess and Cannoneer are good tower troops for this deck.
Night Magician Golem Ball Cart
this Night Magician Golem Ball Cart It might be the strongest deck in the meta right now for Golem players, with a strong Evo combo and some of the best supports. It has a relatively low elixir cost and gives you a few different ways to damage the enemy tower.
Here are the cards you need for the deck:
Card name |
Elixir cost |
---|---|
Bomber Oo |

Oo Zap |

the guards |

The deck has an average elixir cost of 3.9, which puts it in the same range that some cycle deck players like to run. Golem is the only real heavy card in this deck. This means you won't be as thirsty for elixirs and you can easily rotate through your deck to get to your Evo cards as long as you don't go into single elixir phase with Golem.
Guards, Ball Cart, and Skeleton Dragon are the three main cards you want to play in the early stages and focus solely on defense. If you are facing those decks, arrows will help you defend against Barrel Goblin or Drill Goblin.
When you enter Phase Two Elixir, start building up your pressure. You want to place your Night Witch and Skeleton Dragon behind the Golem. If you have a good opening, the Evo Bomber can help you deal good chip damage. If your opponent tries to trade towers, use guards and cannon carts to defend.
Use Cannoneer Tower Troop for this deck.
Tips on playing Golem Decks in Clash Royale
Before we wrap up, here are some essentials to keep in mind when playing a Golem deck Clash Royale:
- Most golem decks only play defense in the single elixir phase. Avoid using golem and try to create an elixir lead with smart defense.
- If you have a big spell in your deck, like Lightning, Rocket, or even Evo Zap, save it for your opponent's defense building when you're building pressure. Using Lightning to take out an Inferno Tower that your opponent has taken down puts you in a good position.
- Golem decks are countered by heavy decks like Spell Bait or Goblin Drill Cycle. If you're up against those decks, your only hope of winning is to create a massive push that your enemies can't defend against.
- If you have a Tornado in your deck, use it to deal damage to enemy troops with Death Golem damage. Death Blast damage is deceptively high.
- Against X-Bow or Mortar, use Golem defensively to tank against the siege unit. Golem has a huge health pool and can wipe out siege troops while still having enough HP to force your opponent to defend.
- Pekka and Inferno Tower are the two biggest golem counters. When facing these cards, make sure you have the right forces in your cycle to take them out.
- In the Triple Elixir phase, you should be able to rotate multiple golems on the field to pressure the enemy tower. If you can hold the game to this point, you will be in a good position to secure the win.
While Golem isn't as unstoppable as it used to be, it's still strong enough to help you climb the trophy ladder. Taking it down takes a bit of skill, but with a little practice, you'll soon become a true golem master. Clash Royale
