The best clothing kits in The Sims 4

The Sims 4 kits come in several types: Architecture & Decor, Everyday Activities, Outdoor Adventure, Builder Kits, Family & Friends, and Fashion & Style. These themes include crafting mode, gameplay, and sim card creation. Because kits are so focused, it means that they offer items related to only one of these specific aspects of the game.

Here we're taking a look at all of the focused Sim creation kits to see which ones offer a variety of outfits for your Sims.

For each package, we've noted the kit's contents by item type. We haven't split men's or women's, as most items are labeled and designed as women's, but all can be worn by either gender. We've noted any items specifically designed for men or kids in the main entry.

simtimets

The Simtimates package is a nice idea, but ultimately very limited. While the designs are great, the items are primarily bras and panties, and most of them are designed to be displayed only up close. For this reason, they are all limited in use.

There's a shirt and a pajama set, both designed for the male form, and a pair of more unisex pants that could almost pass for the bedroom, but most of these items are rarely seen. They fill a gap in your Sims' wardrobe, but there's also a reason that creating a lot of underwear has never been a high priority.

Sweet slumber party

The Sweet Slumber Party kit is the definition of a beautifully designed but extremely stylish kit. It includes several casual nightgowns, along with slippers, socks, and slumber party essentials.

There's a sleeping mask, face stars, face masks and pore strips for pampering. You will also find two sets of beautiful nail designs. These fill a niche, but most of the items here have very little use outside of a slumber party. Evening wear is unique, but again, its use is very limited.

Carnival street wear

Carnival streetwear is as amazing as it sounds, but you'll also need some legendary Sims to pull it off. Vibrant shirts, crop tops, gorgeous nails, and special makeup are looks that are hard to pull off in most situations. It can also be very difficult to find other items to match them.

Sulani is a great place to indulge in the items in this pack, but unfortunately it only serves to remind you that there isn't actually a proper carnival to celebrate in the game. We are all dressed up and have nowhere to go.

Splash by the pool

Poolside Splash Kit offers a good selection of swimwear, including some for children. There are mix and match tops and bottoms as well as one piece. You'll also get swimsuits with blue wings, as well as some sunglasses, sandals, and a few pieces of jewelry.

This is a good choice if you only have basic playsuits. It has bikini, shorts, one piece and cover up. Unfortunately, the water fins and swimming ring only come with the swimsuit, not separately, and the swimsuit itself has limited uses.

Throwback Fit

The Throwback Fit Kit includes a range of throwback style sportswear. There are a few more versatile pieces here compared to some kits, but it's still mostly eye-catching colors. Items are not as varied as other kits and are less in number.

The bonus of this package is that kids finally have something. The bucket hat accessory comes in three versions, for toddlers to adults, and there's also a kid's suit and a pair of sneakers. It's just a shame there isn't a little more variety in the parts.

Stylish moonlight

The Moonlight Chic Kit is a beautiful collection of clothing that includes some everyday staples as well as some evening wear. There are even some accessories to complement it.

The reason this kit isn't ranked higher is mostly because a few of the pieces look exactly like what's already in the game. However, you'll get more value out of this kit if you don't have the DLC containing pieces like smart jackets, pale suits, and cargo pants.

Mod Street

The Fashion Street kit has a lot of great items. Not only are they balanced in terms of item types, but menswear and womenswear are also well divided. This pack contains a solid collection of everyday clothes in a style that is rarely presented in the game.

The addition of henna designs for hands, as well as shoes and accessories, means you can rock a look from this pack without having to scramble for similar items. also paste It's like a complete capsule wardrobe.

The grunge revival kit

The Grunge Revival kit is another kit that offers items in a specific style. There's a solid range of tops including t-shirts, hoodies, shirts and jackets, as well as shorts and long pants.

The kit comes complete with a hat, glasses, jewelry, some new tattoo options, and some new nail polish samples. The items also fit well with the Werewolf group's aesthetic, bringing more versatility to the grunge pieces we already have without feeling similar.

Urban tribute

The Urban Homage kit was designed with input from Ebonix who wanted to embrace the bold and unapologetic style that means so much to him. Self-expression is key here with a selection of unique items that span multiple categories.

Highlights here are jewelry that includes multiple rings, layered necklaces, and multi-earring combinations. Clothing items include some staples, casual items and some more stylish tops.

Arrival in Incheon

Incheon Arrivals is a capsule wardrobe that includes items with a wide range of versatility. You can go from casual jeans and a hoodie or plaid shirt to a smart suit, with several stops in between.

All of these pieces are neutral, so they easily fit into a variety of Sims' wardrobes, regardless of their usual style. You'll also find a range of pieces designed for both male and female frames, with gender-neutral options. This pack also includes the often-overlooked outdoor jackets.

Goth Galore

What sets the Goth Galore kit apart is the attention to detail. Items are very well combined and matched with very small details. There is also a good mix of tops, bottoms, full body items and accessories. Makeup is unique like jewelry.

This kit also goes well with grunge kits, vampire items and some base game skins. You can add little pieces to really give your look an edge. The only downside is that it would have been nice to have a few more full pieces as goth outfits are rare.

Modern men's clothing

Modern menswear fills a huge hole in the creation of a sim by wearing clothes that are properly designed for men's sims. Once again the kit acts as a capsule wardrobe, with accessories such as jeans, casual shirts, and jackets, alongside smarter trousers and tops.

The most unique feature of this pack is the addition of skirts designed for male physique. These are not only fashionable, but because they are designed for the male frame, they are much better than using feminine designs. Here's to the stylish male sims.

The first is appropriate

Everything in this kit is designed for kids, and unlike many of the items in the game, it doesn't feel like it's just for the younger crowd. A child's age ranges from school-age to adolescence or at least adolescence, yet many of the items we take for granted feel designed for five-year-olds.

These items are larger than many children's options and offer a well-designed and versatile wardrobe, especially for older children, and compliment packages like baby things well. Neutral separates mixing and matching and is very versatile for both sexes. This kit is another gap filler that does it in versatile style.
