bleach A legendary shounen anime that needs no introduction. This beloved series is known as the beating heart of the story because of its huge weapons, amazing powers and unique characters. Regardless of the many disappointments that people rightfully complain about, the show and manga still have a huge following. Most people like it bleach For its incredible fighting, it has amazing results with some battles.
Even if the long-term consequences of some bleachFights can be pretty weird, there's no denying that Tite Kubo knows how to change the script and structure certain fights to make things as unpredictable as possible. Underdogs can win battles they have no business participating in, and certain characters display impressive powers that completely change the dynamic of their battles. All of this leads to dire conclusions that aren't very interesting to watch.

Bleach: 5 Worst Shinigami, Rank
Not all shinigami introduced in the Bleach series are quite impressive in terms of power. Here's a breakdown of which ones came out the weakest.
5 Unohana's clever sacrifice
Defeated by: Kenpachi Zarki
- Conflict: Quincy Blood War
- Location: Moken, Soul Society
Onohana didn't seem to have any fighting abilities, but she showed what she was really about when she engaged Kenpachi in a duel to the death. This whole fight was full of shocking moments. Unohana showed a sadistic side, revealing that she was the original holder of the title “Kenpachi” before meeting a young bloodthirsty boy who took up the mantle instead. It's a brutal fight where Zarki is killed several times, but is brought back to life thanks to his healing techniques.
Finally, after losing himself in the lust of battle, Kenpachi finally learns the truth about his Zanpakuto and delivers the killing blow to Unohana. Given that Unohana's motivation was to help him become stronger at all costs, this was a foregone conclusion, but fans were still excited to see Kubo go this far and reveal a character who had just revealed some bombs. They were shocked.
4 Ulquiorra's Final Battle
Defeated by: Vasto Lord Ichigo
- Conflict: Invasion of Hueco Mundo
- Location: Las Noches, Hueco Mundo
Ulquiorra is a vicious villain who serves as Ichigo's ultimate nemesis throughout the Arrancar arc, effortlessly defeating them whenever they take down the replacement shinigami. So, when the protagonist met the fourth Espada for the final battle, fans knew fireworks would fly. After a fierce battle, Ichigo found himself defeated and Ulquiorra punched a hole in his chest. At this point, Ichigo was dead, but his hollow powers prevented him from dying completely.
Instead, Ichigo transformed into his Vasto Lorde form, surprising Ulquiorra. Even in his second resurrection form, he wouldn't stand a chance. A maddened Ichigo managed to defeat the Fourth Espada for good, causing him to disintegrate in a surprisingly heartfelt death. No one expected Ulquiorra to lose in such resounding fashion, making it one of the most shocking results of a fight in bleach.
3 Two parts of Yamamoto
Defeated by: Yhwach
- Conflict: Quincy Blood War
- Location: Siriti, the soul community
The battle between Yhwach and Yamamoto excited the fans to no end. Bleach: Ichigo's best outfits, ranked
Ichigo's fashion has changed several times throughout the Bleach series, but when it comes to his most iconic outfits, nothing beats the following.
It turns out that the man Yamamoto thought was Yuvach was just another underling impersonating King Quincy. Before Yamamoto could reveal the betrayal, Yhwach used all of his power in a short slash that cut the Captain-Commander from the shoulder to the waist, leading to one of the series' most iconic scenes that fans will remember. They will remember its shock value. It was a surprising defeat that showed how strong YACH is.
2 Yhwach's unexpected loss
Defeat: Ichigo Kurosaki
- Conflict: Quincy Blood War
- Location: Siriti, the soul community
When Ichigo showed off all of his newfound abilities to Yhwach, the Quincy King was more than impressed. God Almighty was the only reason the protagonist hadn't torn him to pieces, and the only way to stop Ichigo was to break his Zanpakuto before he could use it to cause more trouble. This broke Ichigo's spirit, and Yuch later absorbed his power. It was only after an extended speech of suffering that Ichigo decided to face the Quincy King once more.
This time, Ichigo needed the power of his friends (and enemies) to save the day. Tsukishima's ending book together with Orihime's book
Suten Kishun repaired his Zanpakutō and gave him one more hit against YACH. Eisen made a much needed assist with his mock
Kanzen Saimin distracts Yuach long enough for Ishida to fire a silver arrow that temporarily incapacitates him. This was the window Ichigo needed to get through King Quincy and finish him off once and for all. It may be a weak conclusion, but the conclusion is surprising and ends bleachThe final fight with a high note.
1 Aizen's humiliation
Defeat: Ichigo Kurosaki
- Conflict: Invasion of the soul community
- Location: Spirit community
Aizen is one of the most evil antagonists of all time, with his shikai more than enough to bring the entire Soul Society to its knees. Merging with Hogyoku increased his powers and made him one of the strongest characters bleachand Ichigo needed to do something spectacular to achieve victory. This was achieved by long training in Dangai with his father until he mastered his powers, allowing him to humiliate Aizen from the start of the battle.
Despite Aizen evolving in battle to fully utilize the Hogyoku, he is no match for Ichigo's massive power that comes out of nowhere. It's a surprising turn of events that continues, with Ichigo becoming Getsuga Tenshō himself. This allows him to unleash his ultimate attack, Mugetsu. At the cost of his shinigami powers, Ichigo destroys Aizen in a more one-sided battle than most people expected, which is equal parts shocking and disappointing.
