When you dive into Atlyss, one of the first big decisions you'll face is choosing your class. You will choose from different races, each with unique abilities, called Imps, Humans, and Kubolds. But, it's your class that determines how you approach combat, exploration, and teamwork.

Atlyss: 8 tips for beginners
Get off to the best possible start in Atlyss.
Fighters thrive on raw power, Mystics use magic, and Bandits rely on agility and stealth. The Novice class, while still basic, gives you a glimpse of your potential. Each class affects your playstyle, from tanking to casting spells or fast tapping. Today, we're ranking the classes to see which ones stand out (and which ones are best for you).
1
fighter
The fighter takes first place for one simple reason: it is reliable. It's all about brutal strength and durability. You can strike, deal damage, and hold your ground when the going gets tough. Plus, if you eventually master heavy weapons, you can deliver devastating blows that can turn the tide of battle.

Stuns enemies with a powerful shield hit. |
cyclone |
Throws a boomerang-like weapon that hits multiple enemies. |
anger |

Skills like Stomp and Cyclone make crowd control easier, while Shield Bash gives you the ability to stun pesky enemies. And when you activate Rage, you'll feel unstoppable.
If you're a fan of close combat and fearless action, you should definitely go the Fighter route. It is durable, powerful and very easy to get used to.
Speed and range are not a fighter's strong suit. If you're up against enemies that like to kite, it can feel a little slow and clunky. But hey, that's what teammates are for!
2
Arif
This class is perfect for players who like to plan their attacks and look good with a wand. Mystics are all about magic – big, flashy, hurtful magic. Skills like Fluxbolt and Fluxspear let you hit hard from afar, while Nova and Blink give you tools to control the battlefield and escape danger. You can even entertain yourself and your team with Imbue and become a bonus in group fights.

Atlyss: How to unlock all classes
There are three classes for your character in Atlyss, and you have to complete some requirements before you can find them. Learn about them here!
Durability is the weak point of mysticism. If you get caught off guard, you won't last long. Plus, you have to watch your mana – you don't want to run out in the middle of a fight. But with practice, these weaknesses can be controlled.
3
bandit
If you're into speed, agility, and a little guile, the Bandit might just be your new favorite class. This one is all about being clever – poisoning enemies with Venom Shot, sneaking around with Mist Veil, or setting traps to catch enemies off guard. Bandits are the definition of hit and run tactics, striking at the right time and disappearing before the enemy knows what hit them.
Special skills
Skills |
Description |
---|---|
poison shot |
Fires a poison projectile that damages enemies over time. |
veil of fog |
Makes you invisible and allows you to attack enemies or run away from danger. |
job killer |
With a powerful blow, it slows down the enemy's defense and movement. |
bomb trap |
Sets a trap that explodes when triggered by enemies. |
payment day |
Stuns enemies and makes them drop their currency. |
Bandit is not for everyone, this is a more advanced class that relies heavily on timing and positioning. If you're not quick on your feet, you can get into trouble.
Additionally, while the Bandit has great tools for dealing with enemies, it lacks the raw power of the Fighter or the extended range of the Mystic. But for players who love a challenge, Bandit is incredibly rewarding.
4
rookie
The Novice class isn't technically a “class” in the same way that the others are. It's basically a tutorial where you learn the ropes of the game before you're faced with all the exciting class choices. It has a few skills that help you survive, like healing and teleporting – nothing fancy really. However, what makes it special is that your racial skills give you a bit of your potential future.

Each race has its own unique skill. For example, Imps have a Siphon Leech to steal health. |
