Riyadh: The members of Saudi Arabia's Masam project removed 670 explosive bombs from different areas of Yemen last week. According to a recently published report, their total includes five anti-personnel mines, 47 anti-tank mines, 570 unexploded ammunition and 21 explosive devices. A total of 453,968 mines have been cleared since its inception in 2018, said Osama al-Ghosibi, the initiative's CEO. Explosives were planted indiscriminately and posed a threat to civilians, including children, women and the elderly.
