Why The Plucky Squire's performance might mean good things are coming
The Plucky Squire is out now, and considering it's the first All Possible Future title, the game and studio are off to a great start.
As shared on the All Possible Future Twitter page, update 1.4.0 is now live for players on Nintendo Switch. This update fixes many minor bugs throughout the different seasons of the game. Most importantly, the puzzle box in Chapter 9 of Squire Plucky Got a fix where fixed boxes collided with each other and got stuck. Along with that, a variety of general tweaks were added to the game to adjust the handling of lamps, text overlays, and the way minigame inputs are displayed.
Some additional updates to the game came to several chapters. Season 2 received some adjustments to portal encounters and character combinations. The word puzzle in chapter 4 of Squire Plucky It also received an update that fixed words getting stuck behind the frog, along with problems with the bridge getting bigger and some text being unreadable. Chapter 7 also added a few tweaks that fixed some NPC behavior and an unwanted puzzle solution.
Chapter 6 of Squire Plucky Received the biggest update of all seasons. Made fixes that prevented the game from potentially crashing during a minigame. Additionally, several objects such as boxes and words received an update to prevent them from reaching inaccessible locations. Finally, issues such as Zip not following correctly from Jot, players getting stuck in certain areas, and minigame objectives not showing have also been fixed.
These updates are currently rolling out on the Nintendo Switch version Squire Plucky. While further patches and updates for the game on other platforms have yet to be released, the developers have announced that these changes are already underway.
