Blade, the natural hero chosen to save New York City from vampires, also appears in Spider-Man's Unfriendly Neighborhood. In it, Spider-Man refuses to help Spider-Zero. He prefers to stay in New York City to fight vampires. The Human Torch appears and tells Spider-Man that Blade has arrived.

The three heroes begin fighting Dracula's minions until Dracula himself appears. Dracula deals with the three superheroes almost effortlessly, and when Blade saves Spider-Man, Dracula picks up Blade and takes him back to his castle.

In the storm story, “Dream Grass,” Charles hints at more. Storm had felt a powerful presence, and wanted to tell Xavier about it immediately, as he felt his vision closer to his own, but wondered where the professor would even be in the midst of all this multidimensional chaos.
