Marvel Rivals dataminers have uncovered the first image of Fantastic Four member The Thing, confirming leaks that suggested he would be on the roster. It displays its design.
Although Marvel Rivals just launched with a massive roster of 33 characters that puts other superhero shooters to shame (you know what I mean), its stacked lineup isn't finished yet. As a live-action game, more heroes and villains are planned to join, and with how many Marvel characters have yet to be included, the possibilities are endless.

Marvel Rivals makes a good initial impression, but the more time I spend with it, the more it shows its cracks.
That's exciting and all, but we actually already know a lot of the characters that will eventually come to Marvel Rivals. Dataminers found a huge roster of heroes during the game's beta, which has since been expanded with models, animations, and more for various characters. There is one family in particular that is getting a lot of attention.
Don't worry, The Thing will have big eyebrows in Marvel Rivals
Of course, I mean the Fantastic Four. The first Marvel family was included in the original text dataset, but two of the four members have since shared their designs. Johnny Storm, the Human Torch, was first introduced a few months ago, while Reed Richards, Mr. Incredible, debuted his Marvel self just a few days ago. Now it's Ben Grimm's turn.
RivalsLeaks took to Twitter to share the first image of Marvel Rivals' take on The Thing, found in the game's files. The image itself does not show the finished 3D model of him, as it actually appears to be a spray or piece of concept art. Either way, this gives us a good idea of what he looks like.
Just like the rest of the Fantastic Four we've seen so far, The Thing's suit (or rather, shorts) will feature a white, blue, and black color scheme instead of the usual blue and black we're all used to. Ben Grimm also has voluminous brows that should please any discerning person who prefers to have their brows done.
If you're not a fan of white, black, and blue, it's worth noting that Rivals will undoubtedly have different skins for all of the Fantastic Four.
Although it's still too early to tell, The Thing appears to be slightly less developed than Mr Fantastic and the Human Torch, as a 3D model for him has yet to be found. That being said, we at least know for sure that three members of the Fantastic Four are on the way, and that Invisible Woman Sue Richards has remained properly hidden for now.
