A woman has been found dead in the toilets of the iconic Manly Wharf in Sydney, police have confirmed.
Emergency services responded to reports of a concern for welfare at in the toilet complex along East Esplanade, Manly at 12.25pm on Thursday, NSW Police said in a statement.
Paramedics performed CPR on the woman, 48, but she died at the scene.
Officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation into the incident.
The matter is not being treated as suspicious, a NSW Police spokeswoman said.
A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
