The Saudi Advertising School aims to educate women in the Kingdom's advertising sector through a new program

Dubai: Saudi Arabia Ad School, a Saudi-based training institute specializing in advertising courses, has partnered with Publicis Groupe's Middle East marketing and communications network to launch 'Name Behind Her Talent', a women's empowerment program in the Kingdom.

The aim of this program is to train female talent involved in the Saudi Arabian advertising industry through initiatives such as scholarships, training courses, discussion and coaching sessions, workshops and industrial halls.

These are the latest initiatives focused on “empowering women in advertising,” said Anas Rashwan, founder and president of the Saudi School of Advertising, with each hall featuring up to three women who “share their experiences, insights and expertise with our students. ». .

“We want to establish a strong foundation here before considering expanding to other countries,” Rashwan told Arab News.

The one-year program begins in September. The Saudi Advertising School has developed an eligibility program with a scoring system that will be available on its website and distributed at industry events for program scholarships, which include courses, master classes and workshops, Rashwan added. educational institutions.

He said that other activities of this program will be open and free for all women.

Rashwan has run the Cairo Advertising School in Egypt for nearly 12 years, and its success, “combined with strong demand from the Saudi market,” led to his decision to launch the Saudi Advertising School last year, he said.

He added that the advertising sector in Saudi Arabia “is becoming more dynamic with a strong focus on digital transformation, creativity and innovation, and we are seeing a shift towards content that resonates with Saudi culture and values, opening up exciting opportunities for advertisers.” “
