Bethesda has shared an extensive trailer for “The Deep Dive.” Indiana Jones and the Great Circlewhich serves as a lengthy introduction to its story, characters, and gameplay loop. This may be the last official look Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Until the inevitable trailer release that will accompany its December 2024 release.

Actor Troy Baker reveals how Todd Howard initially didn't want him to play the lead in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

Bethesda began ramping up its promotional efforts ahead of the game's holiday release, first by giving press hands-on time with Indiana Jones and the Great CircleAnd now treat yourself to a new “Deep Dive” trailer. Ward explains that the story of the game will begin in 1937 at Marshall College, a university based in Bedford, Connecticut, where Dr. Jones teaches as a professor of archeology in the series' stories. In short, a famous archaeologist stumbles into a quarry in the middle of the night, discovers that someone has stolen a precious artifact, and sets out on a journey to solve the mystery of the ordeal. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Also Gina Lombardi, an Italian journalist who joins the protagonist at the beginning of the story, not out of interest in the stolen relic, but to find her missing sister.

The trailer also hints at the game's main antagonist, Nazi archaeologist Emmerich Voss, who is at the center of the global conspiracy that Indy and Gina seek to uncover. Among other things, it shows Voss talking to a German priest, who warns him that the artifacts he's looking for are dangerous and possess otherworldly powers. Voss then ominously replies that this is exactly why the Peshwa is looking for them.

After introducing the game's supporting cast, the new deep dive video spends several minutes showing how to play Indiana Jones and the Great Circle It will strive to provide a varied gameplay experience, constantly balancing between action and exploration. It's also another confirmation that players will be seeing a lot of Indy throughout their adventure, as the game often switches from first-person to third-person. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle It will be released on December 9 for Xbox Series X/S and PC, followed by a PS5 version in the first half of 2025.
