Dragon Ball is now 40 years old. The series was first published in 1984 by the series' late mangaka, who passed away earlier this year, Akira Toriyama.
In commemoration of this important milestone for the collection, Super dragon ball The gallery project was held.
Ichiro Oda, mangakai each pieceparticipated in it. For his contribution, he redesigned the cover of the Dragon Vol.42 manga. This cover features Goku, the main character of the dragon.
Oda's relationship with Toriyama
Oda has always admired Toriyama, even going so far as to claim that he is a god. One Piece, his work, is inspired by Toriyama's dragon, as is most shounen manga, due to the revolutionary impact it had on the entire industry.
Toriyama's death earlier this year was big news that affected many who loved the series.

“I bought the first volume of the Dragon Ball manga series when I was in elementary school, but I didn't buy the second volume! I always read the chapters through the WSJ magazine, and when the final volume 42 came out, I went to see a bookstore, but I didn't buy it, because Thank you for giving me the opportunity to redraw it, and now, I wish I could buy this cover while Toriyama-sensei is alive!Ichiro Oda
