Hunter X Hunter It has maintained its weekly release schedule so far, with no signs of slowing down. Togashi has been dropping chapters full of information every week and this week with it HxH 403 was no exception to this rule.

In fact, this chapter sets up the death of several Kakin princes, and their fate remains to be seen depending on the actions they take during the upcoming events of the War of Succession. Hulkenberg, in particular, is taking the main focal point this season with his incredible ability in Nen.

HxH Chapter 403 opens with Balsamilco Might, Benjamin's right-hand man trying to kill Hulkenburg, as seen in the last chapter using the TSK-17.

in HxH 403, he comes to justice to do so. His plan was to get close enough to Hulkenburg during the interrogation to unleash his silent killer on him. He bets that without Hulkenberg's personal guards, Hulkenberg will not be able to use his Nen ability. However, this assumption quickly put Balsamilco Might in a very difficult position.

Indeed, upon entering, Wicket saw his missing fellow bodyguard under Benjamin's watch. After seeing Balsamilco Might, Vict uses signs to show Might's exact location. The timeline of the events so far has taken place before the events of last season HxH 402 where Fugetsu gave the letter to Benjamin.

He can be seen calling Prince Benjamin and informing him of his inability to kill Hulkenburg so far. However, Benjamin is suspicious and feels that something is wrong with Mayte. So much so that Mayte threatens martial law if he tries to leave without killing Hulkenburg.

However, Benjamin's suspicions are confirmed for readers by the end of the year HxH 403. Prince Hulkenburg is revealed to have actually taken over the body of Mayte, Benjamin's most trusted man. Meanwhile, Hulkenburg's real body remains in a coma.

These bad moves by Benjamin and his men could soon mean the end of the first prince Benjamin or the possibility of declaring martial law which could lead to the execution of the Kakin princes as Benjamin abuses his power.

The truth about Hulkenberg's birth has finally been revealed

Hulkenberg is the son of Unma's first queen

In the last week HxH 402, an interesting tidbit was released at the end of the chapter that hints at Hulkenburg hiding the details of his birth. Fans thought that this could mean that he is Beyond Netero's secret child hiding among the princes, and while that theory hasn't been ruled out yet, it wasn't addressed this season. In chapter 403, it is revealed that Hulkenberg is not the son of the second Queen Dovazai, but the son of the first Queen Unma.

in HxH 403, Hulkenburg is seen in a contact with Unma, revealing that he is fully aware of his true mother. This truth was also revealed to Benjamin through the letter Fugetsu gave to Benjamin from his late sister. The letter revealed that Hulkenberg was Unma's son, and the first Queen Unma did something to protect her youngest son from possible assassinations by his older siblings.

Benjamin doesn't seem to believe much of what's in the letter, dismissing it as an internet rumor, but it'll probably stick in his mind at least. This is especially so because Unma may rely on her other children to help her youngest child, Hulkenberg. In this chapter, the Kaiser also meets Vorio, one of Hulkenburg's supporters, and reveals that Hulkenburg will soon die.

The assassination plot against Luzoros will soon be revealed

In the final chapter, HxH 402, readers see Fugetsu and the emperor distributing letters to the other princes, which appear to be from Fugetsu's deceased sister, Kocho. However, this is not true and is merely a tactic to get Fugetsu to increase his range with his ability in the princes' chambers, as well as a way to cause discord among the princes by spreading some rumors.

Among the Kakin princes, only 3 princes did not receive the letter. The 13th Prince Mary did not receive her letter, probably because her nan beast made her room inaccessible to anyone outside. The fourth prince Tserriednich also did not take his letter and simply asked them to throw it out. The 9th Prince of Halkenburg also did not receive his letter, but for different reasons. He is undergoing medical treatment after transferring his consciousness to the body of the mite and is currently unavailable.

In addition to those 3, Fugetsu now has access to the rooms of all those princes. However, Fugetsu himself is in very bad shape. With Basho's ability, the ghosts get away from him, but this is only a temporary solution and the group must act fast. They will attempt to assassinate Luzoros the next night.
