Strengths of the old team 7
-
The old team of 7 was great in terms of power
-
At their peak, not even Kaguya could defeat them
When it comes to the strength of the old team 7, it can be said that they are extremely powerful and indifferent in their own story. The climax of every character in Team 7 is completely insurmountable in the story. The main character, Naruto Uzumaki, reached an incredibly high level in the Fourth Great Ninja War. Naruto gained the power of the Six Paths and achieved Six Paths Sage Mode. With his powers, he was able to save dying souls, create something out of nothing and die in it, fight powerful people like the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki, and even resist people like Kaguya. Without a doubt, Naruto was a powerful force at the end of the series and the strongest shinobi to ever live. Meanwhile, Sasuke was also on his level, albeit a little weaker. He also took power from Hakim and awakened Rinnegan. His Eternal Mangkyo Sharingan was also a huge threat and of course he was aware of it, which meant he was one step ahead of most of the people he was fighting.
Team 7 is finally back! – Naruto Uzumaki
As for Sakura, she was able to surpass the Fifth Hokage by obtaining the Bakugou and showing her true strength in battle. Sakura even managed to catch up to Naruto and Sasuke at one point, but eventually fell behind them. Regardless, Sakura was easily among the strongest in the war, and that's admirable to say the least.
Meanwhile, Kakashi also grew stronger as he gained full control over Kamui's power, gaining the ability to use it on much larger targets such as the Gedo Statue, using it multiple times in the same day. Additionally, at his peak, Obito gave Kakashi the six-way chakra along with the power to wield two Mangekyou Sharingan. He became so strong that he was able to fight Kaguya, severely injuring her, and was instrumental in sealing her away. Kakashi was easily one of the most powerful ninjas during this battle, and that's certainly an incredible feat for him or anyone else.
Without a doubt, the strength of the old Team 7 was incredible and in the Naruto series, they were easily the greatest ever seen.
New Team 7 in Boruto
The new Team 7 is a powerful force
The new Teams 7 in Boruto consists of Boruto Uzumaki's main character, Sarada Uchiha, and of course Orochimaru's son, Mitsuki. The team is led by none other than Konohamaru, who fans know aims to become the Hokage of the village. In theory, this Team 7 shouldn't be as strong as the old team, but considering how the Boruto series has gone, they've certainly had a lot of success already. The protagonist, Boruto, has achieved a very high level of power.
After 3 years, Boruto has reached a point where he can take down powerful people like Code without his limitations and without too much trouble. He can keep up with the likes of Hydari, Shinju, and nearly destroy him in battle. All this without Boruto even using his Karma powers, which fans know he will master later on. It's safe to say that Boruto is stronger than Naruto's Six Paths Sage Mode.
I don't want to be Hokage. I want to be a cool ninja like Uncle Sasuke. – Boruto Uzumaki
Sarada Uchiha is left behind. He's nowhere near Boruto's level and doesn't compare to Sakura Haruno or Sasuke from Team 7. But, it must be remembered that he has yet to show his true abilities and much of what he has learned remains unknown. On the other hand, Mitsuki has shown off his power in Sage Mode before. While she's strong, she's certainly not strong enough at this point in time, and she, like Sarada, needs more time to develop. The leader of the team, Konohamaru, is also weak and doesn't even compare to Kakashi in any way. But, once again, by giving him the benefit of the doubt, he can continue his power, especially since he wants to become Hokage.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 18: What are you waiting for?
Boruto TBV Season 18 might be too big for Konohamaru and Sarada. Shinju can become a friend.
There is another member of Team 7 named Kawaki and he is a very important character in the Boruto series. He is almost as strong as Boruto Uzumaki and has the same powers as Ishiki, and when he fully masters his powers he will surely be at least stronger than Sasuke Uchiha. Both Boruto and Kawaki are stronger than Naruto and Sasuke at the end of the 4th Great Ninja War and alone are strong enough to match the old Team 7. Then considering the fact that Sarada will probably reach a similar level. As Mitsuki, it almost becomes too much.
The power is not all in the storytelling
Boruto's characters, while strong, are subpar at best
Unfortunately, how fans use media can sometimes complicate how a series is ranked. For example, the characters in Boruto are very strong. Except for Naruto Uzumaki's baryon mode, Boruto Far surpasses any other ninja in the story. Sarada and Mitsuki would probably reach very high levels of power, at least from the likes of Sakura. But, power is not everything. In a story, what matters most is the storytelling, and that's where Boruto falls short. Boruto It's a decent story to say the least, but it's on the low end in terms of quality, especially compared to Naruto. Boruto The story doesn't hold a candle to what Naruto was able to deliver and will never be half as popular as the original series, because while the story concept is interesting, it simply lacks complex characters, incredible and deep stories, and the ability to expand the world in interesting ways. .
Boruto It has been largely unsuccessful Naruto sequel, even if fans continue to watch it. Of course, it's not a complete failure given that it maintains a certain level of popularity, but it will never reach the same heights. Naruto. Boruto The characters may have been overpowered and their Team 7 may even be stronger than the old Team 7.
Boruto is available to read through Viz Media. Fans can read this series officially and for free in the Shonen Jump and Manga Plus applications. The release date for the next Boruto season, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 18, is set for January 20, 2025.
