The fish that appear will be influenced by the type of water you are fishing in, the fish shad and the weather. You should be able to enter any seasonal fish Mysteriabut if you're looking for legendary fish, you'll need to work on leveling up your fishing skills. There are four legendary fish in total, one for each season.

You cannot catch legendary fish until you reach level 30 in fishing skill. Purchased Legendary Perk for 80 Essence. Once you have this item, you'll occasionally get a notification from a legendary fish nearby At the beginning of a new day. It appears just below the calendar date and possible birthdays. That said, there's only one legendary fish per season, so you'll only get one notification for one type of fish instead of all four at once.
The best way to level up is fishing and diving. It may be difficult to determine the level of fishing experience, but if you make it a habit to fish every day, your fishing skills will increase. It may help if you get points in Tier 1 and Tier 2.
- Weedline Watcher (Level 1): Will be less likely to catch junk. Costs 15 Essence.
- Lure Casting (Level 1): Fish are attracted to your lure from a wider range. Costs 10 Essence.
- Full Catch (Level 2): Rare and uncommon fish become more common. The cost of 40 essential oils.
You can catch the legendary fish with a “weaker” fishing rod, but buying (or forging) it is highly recommended.

Cherry fish appear in spring on windy days. You can check the weather with crystal ball furniture. If there is a picture of cherry blossoms inside, it means that the wind will be with cherry blossoms the next day. You can only catch cherry fish in ponds, so make your way to the southern half of the eastern road. There is a large pond that you can fish above the bridge, or you can fish in the pond in the lower right corner. Remember to watch out for small shadows. If you don't see any, leave the area and come back to “refresh” the fish.

You can find leaf fish in the river on East Road in the fall in windy weather. There's only one river on the east road, and it's right over the bridge you repaired for one of them MysteriaStory missions such as cherry fish, leaf fish appear as a small shadow in the water.

As the name suggests, the snowfish is a legendary winter fish and can be found in the ocean at the beach when it snows. You can cast your line in any part of the water on the beach, but you should watch out for medium-sized shad. To reduce running from one end of the beach to the other, pick a spot along the beach and fish there. You can refresh your ocean fish by checking in/out from the Tackle Shop or The Beach.
The place where the legendary fish is used
Can you sell them?
You cannot sell legendary fish or place them in fish tanks in your cabin. The only way to use the legendary fish is to donate them to the museum. Once you have donated all four Legendary Fish, you will receive one of the Fish Wing Collection Completion Rewards. Depending on how many sets you have done before spinning the legendary fish, its contents will vary. You'll basically get a new piece of furniture and a recipe for it, as well as a treasure chest. The more fin sets are completed, the higher the quality of the treasure box.
