Phase 1: Shield defense and mid-range attacks
The Gigamind moves around the arena in a hoverboard during the first phase of combat, firing mid-range projectiles as primary attacks and employing protective drones. He also has a shield that gives him high resistance to standard attacks. Having a good stun weapon is essential here to drain his blue shield bar quickly.

Gigamind may have lost his primary shield in the first phase, but he still has more shields to bolster his defenses. Borderlands 3. In the second phase, he separates from his attacks to enter the center of the field. Here, he creates one of two shields to protect himself. If it's a green shield, Gigamind will absorb most of the damage you send at him. If the shield is red, Gigamind will respond with a volley of bullets. While you can shoot shields to deal less damage, it's much more effective to dodge him.
The arena can get pretty messy at this point, but luckily, there are several dishes around that you can use for cover.
Phase 3: More drones and tornadoes
Gigamind enters the final phase of the fight when his health bar is low. He gains a new attack and deploys clusters of drones in a massive tornado. This is a powerful attack that you should avoid. It does a lot of damage, especially if you play at higher levels of Mayhem.
