Warning: The following contains spoilers for Dragon Ball Daima Episode 10, “Ocean,” now streaming on Crunchyroll.
The first real challenge Dragon Wings Always Throwing Goku's way is a Tamagami that protects the Dragon Balls of the Devil's Realm. The three guardians are placed in each of the three demon worlds and stand tall and proud until a challenger approaches them and tries to claim their respective dragon ball. Like the other Dragon Ball series, the Demon Realm series was created by a Namekian. Only this time, it was someone named Nova. After creating the Dragon Balls, Nova proceeded to create a Tamagami to guard the Dragon Balls, which has prevented anyone from wishing for a long time.
Goku had already faced Tamagami number three Dragon Wings Always Episode 8, “Tamagami”, who was a guardian located in the Third Demon World, guarding the Three Star Dragon Ball. Goku was able to defeat it with the help of his Super Saiyan 2 form, but with Goku being in a kid's body and all, exactly how strong was Tamagami? How does it compare to previous villains and rivals that Goku has faced in the past?

Dragon Ball Daima: The Difference Between Ki and Magic
Magic has always been present in Dragon Ball, but this is the first time the series has taken a deeper look at Ki's version of the Devil's Realm.
They are stronger than Dabora
King Goma's predecessor fought with Tamagami and was defeated
So far, the strongest recorded character to ever fight Tamagami, other than Goku, is the previous Demon King Dabura. Panzi stated Dragon Wings Always Episode 7, “The Collar”, where he heard that Dabora couldn't defeat Tamagami and got the Dragon Ball. Panzi's statement matches King Goma's statement in Episode 1, “The Conspiracy”, that no one has made a wish with the Devil Realm's Dragon Balls for a long time.
So, the Tamagami are all stronger than the Dabura, but where does it put them on a larger scale. Dragon ball Power levels? Well, in Dragon Wing Z Episode 227, “Heart of a Villain”, upon observing Dabura's Ki, Goku claims that Dabura is as strong as Cell.
However, keep in mind that Goku was referring to Dabora in the Babidi spell. Babidi's mind control doesn't just force people to obey their will. It also greatly enhances their power, as evidenced by Spopovich, Yamu, and, of course, Majin Vegeta. This development means that the Dabora fighting Tamagami was at least somewhat weaker than the Dabora Goku sensed. There isn't a specific amount of how much the Babidi Charm increases a person's power level, but it doesn't seem like an outrageous amount, since even under that, Vegeta was only on par with Super Saiyan 2 Goku. Therefore, it should still be. To be fair, if the Tamagami are stronger than the Dabura without the Babidi spell, they are at least compared to the strength of the TB.
Tamagami also gives viewers a hint of Goku's power in Daima
It is implied from the beginning Dragon Wings Always that Goku and the rest of the Z fighters are not as strong as their original and old bodies. But now that Goku has faced and defeated someone who can compare to a previous villain, his power in his new body is much more apparent.
It appears that Goku's power, and thus the rest of the Z Fighter's, has not diminished to a detrimental degree. Being able to defeat someone stronger than Dabura while only needing Super Saiyan 2 means that he is close to his strength during the Majin Buu Saga. Daima takes place several months to a year after the Buu Saga, so Goku should be even stronger now, meaning that being a child probably reduced his strength, not as much as King Goma would have liked.
The biggest problem with them being kids is probably that their smaller bodies have more limited access than older ones and they have to relearn how some of the ki techniques work. The amount of raw ki inside them seems to have decreased only slightly.

Dragon Ball Daima: Where is Gohan?
After being shrunk to mini size, Dragon Ball DAIMA sends Goku and the others on a daring journey into the Devil's Realm, but where is Gohan?
They may be stronger than what they wear
At least in the case of Tamagami number three.
No matter how strong a Tamagami is, there's a chance they won't even give it their all against the opponent they're facing. During Goku's fight, Tamagami Number Three actually asked him to stop after being hit by his Kamehameha. It sure looked like Tamagami was bruised and battered, but something felt off about that scene. He specifically stopped when he “realized” Goku's power, hinting that the Tamagami might only fight up to a certain point. Tamagami Number Three also revealed that he could repair his hammer at any moment, but did not, as if to test Goku's fighting prowess without a weapon.
“I confess! I surrender!… There is no use in continuing. I understand your strength.” – Tamagami number three to Goku
Tamagami number two and one may be stronger than number three
Although the mood and storytelling is very different from the previous series, this is still Dragon ball. And if there's one thing the series is known for, it's the fact that the threats keep mounting. It's not at all surprising to learn that Tamagami number three is the weakest, and that two and one are on a completely different level of strength.
Dragon Wings Always Episode 10 gave fans a taste of what Tamagami Number One could do as he battled Majin Kuu. Tamagami easily defeated someone with Majin Buu's essence in them. Now, of course, it's entirely possible that Majin Kuu is hopelessly weak, but it's still possible that Tamagami #1 and #2 are stronger than #3.
