Global oil demand continues to slow amid EV boom and economic headwinds: IEA

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Tadawul All Share Index gained 4.26 points, or 0.04 percent, to close at 11,784.09 on Wednesday.

The benchmark index had a total trading volume of SR5.1 billion ($1.3 billion) as 126 of the listed stocks advanced while 93 retreated.

On the other hand, the MSCI Tadawul index also decreased by 0.52 points, or 0.04 percent, and closed at 1471.85 points.

Similarly, the kingdom’s parallel market Nomu lost 44.90 points, or 0.18 percent, to close at 25,516.70. This comes as 31 of the listed stocks advanced while 30 retreated.

The best performing stock of the day was Al-Baha Investment and Development Co., which rose 8.33 percent to SR 0.13.

The other top performers were Miahona Co. and Al Kathiri Holding Co., whose shares rose 7.53 percent and 6.25 percent to SR 31.40 and SR 2.89, respectively.

Other top performers were Tanmiah Food Co. and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurative Co.

The worst performer was Mediterranean and Gulf Insurance and Reinsurance Co., whose share price fell 5.78 percent to SR 30.15.

Other losers were Saudi Reinsurance Co. and Zamil Industrial Investment Co., which fell 2.41 percent and 1.90 percent, respectively, to SR 28.30 and SR 23.74.

Sustained Infrastructure Holding Co. and United Electronics Co. also fell.

In Nomu, Ghida Alsultan for Fast Food Co. was the biggest gainer, up 7.36 percent to SR54.

Other top performers at Nomu were Saudi Azm for Communication and Information Technology Co. and Armah Sports Co., whose shares rose 5.86 percent and 4.71 percent to SR 19.50 and SR 73.30, respectively.

Other leaders include Knowledge Tower Trading Co. and Edarat Communication and Information Technology Co.

Nomu’s biggest faller was Leaf Global Environmental Services Co., which fell 14.73 percent to SR52.10.

Shares of Saudi Top for Trading Co. and Naba Alsaha Medical Services Co. also fell 9.74 percent and 5.66 percent to SR 6.49 and SR 100, respectively.
