Gege Akutami, author Kaizen jujutsurecently concluded its story with a chapter that divided opinion among fans. While many fans accepted the ending for what it was, many others were not satisfied as there were too many cliffhangers in the story. Of course, fans realize that many games end Kaizen jujutsu It stems from the fact that the author suffers from numerous health-related problems. Some of the things he wanted to explain in the story were rushed because there wasn't enough time and he wanted to finish his manga as soon as possible so he could get the rest he needed.
It is clear from the handling of the last arc of the series JJK It was somewhat rushed, but, although it is sad, at the same time, fans should understand that the author's health comes first. Recently, Gege revealed a lot of exciting details through the release of volume 27 of the series, in which he also elaborated on the differences between Sukuna and Yorozu's reincarnation process.
How Sukuna returned to his original form
- Tsukune defeated Gojo
- Tsukune reincarnated to fight the students
Tsukune returned to his original form after the battle with Gojo Satoru. Fans will know that Gojo and Tsukune engaged in quite an emphatic battle at the beginning of Shinjuku Showdown. It's safe to say that their battle was the best the series had to offer, and it was also one that went down as one of the most anticipated battles in history, not just in JKK but in the entire manga. Sokona vs. Gojo rose to fame and this was a fight where both of them got the upper hand in the battle at different points. However, due to Tsukune having the 10 Shadow Technique, Gojo was weak here and ended up losing the battle.
Goodbye Gojo Satoru! I will never forget you as long as I live! – Sokona
Gojo also lost his life in this way, and with that, the King of Curses remained strong on the battlefield. Of course, that doesn't mean Tsukune went easy on Gojo. Gojo had hurt Tsukune so much that he was at the end of his rope. In fact, Tsukune couldn't even defeat Kashimo in the state he was in. When Tsukune confronted Kashimo right after Gojo, it was clear to everyone that he was sinking, so he had to take the next step. which he had already prepared and this step was the complete visualization process. Using this power, Tsukune took on his true form, which greatly helped him repair his body and lessen the burden that the fight with Goju had put on him. Of course, Tsukune was still very fresh, especially since Gojo's Unlimited Void power had robbed him of his range and his Reverse Cursed Technique was incredibly slow, but, he could still protect himself from all the damage. that he had eaten, heal him. Ready to go again
The difference between Tsukune and Yuruzo incarnations
Tsukune put his transformation on hold to resume later
Fans may be wondering how Tsukune's reincarnation process differs from the Yuruzo that fans saw Tsumiki embody in Culling. It was a rather shocking decision made by the author, but fans believe it plays a key role in moving the story forward. Gege originally wanted to address this issue in his manga, but was unable to do so due to his health issues.
He then elaborated on this in the extra episodes of volume 27, and basically, according to him, the difference in their incarnation processes is that Tsukune resumed his incarnation after suspending it, while Yuruzo completely stopped his incarnation and left Here's what the author had to say about it:
The method of recovering the body by resuming the transformation caused by Tsukune's incarnation was necessary to start the second round with the above jujutsu members. But then the question arose, “What about Yorozu?”
The answer is, “Yuruzu did not suspend evolution from incarnation, but rejected it and ended it.” In this way, the difference in skill level is also determined, isn't it cool?! I was really excited to include this in the extra episodes of volume 27. But during the production of volume 27, I experienced strange symptoms, went through various twists and turns, and ended up having my appendix removed (it was a vermiform appendix, to be exact)—the first surgery and hospitalization. Life and that's how I missed the opportunity to say.”
Tsukune's power in his fully reincarnated form
Sukuna was at the top of the game after reincarnation
Tsukune continued to fight jujutsu wizards due to his embodied body, with Megumi Fushi Goro at its core. Without this pending transformation, Tsukune would not have been able to catch the witches, as Goju had damaged him enough to ensure that he would be permanently paralyzed. Fortunately for him, he had prepared this transformation, which he resumed after the battle with Goju ended. He then went on to fight Jujutsu Wizards and it was super exciting for the fans to see. Tsukune not only unleashed his full power in this battle, but also showed what he is truly capable of and why he is known as the King of Curses.
He faced the wizards one after the other and continued to fight despite the pounding that even his heart was stabbing. Tsukune even showed what an incredible user he is of range extension, reverse cursed technique, and almost all jujutsu magic. He truly deserved the title of King of Curses, and there would never truly be a wizard as skilled as him, and Gojo Satoru was only on his level. In the end, despite all his efforts, Sukona failed in the end and that is why he finally understood what love means and why he finally had a change in his heart and realized that in another life he would like to live another life. A different path, where they loved him and didn't force him to be a survivor.
It's incredibly exciting to see the author share these interesting tidbits from the story, especially since his health issues prevented him from adding things in the original chapters that he wanted for more context. With a massive release still to come, fans know for a fact that they're going to be treated to a lot of exciting content.
The last chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen, JJK 271, is finally released on September 29, 2024. Fans can read the series on Manga Plus and Shonen Jump.
