Every All For One Quirk, Explained

Each quirk All For One wields plays a critical role in shaping the dark legend surrounding him in My Hero Academia, and many of these powers have devastating effects when used in battle. Unlike One For All, which is made up of eight main quirks, All For One has a huge arsenal of quirks (at least 18 named and 18 more unnamed ones), many of which have merged or combined to create new, never-seen-before quirks.

It can be hard to keep track of each of these quirks throughout the series. Most of these quirks have only made very brief appearances in My Hero Academia, but their impact still cannot be understated.

7 Ways All For One Is My Hero Academia’s Best Villain

My Hero Academia has an absolute ton of villains to choose from. Out of all of them, the biggest and baddest is arguably still All For One.

The Mechanics of All For One

At its core, the All For One Quirk allows the user to steal Quirks from others by simply touching them. Once taken, All For One can use the stolen Quirks himself or transfer them to someone else. This ability has terrifying implications, as it renders victims powerless, even stripping away any mutant characteristics tied to their original Quirk. The stolen Quirks can then be combined and modified, often leading to devastating results far greater than the sum of their parts.

Furthermore, All For One can steal not just Quirks, but also the “Quirk Factor”—the genetic blueprint of an individual’s Quirk—even before it manifests. This versatility gives him near-limitless potential to reshape any battle to his advantage.

Every All For One Quirks in My Hero Academia

Spearlike Bones

One of the earliest Quirks stolen by All For One, Spearlike Bones, allows him to generate bone-like structures from his body that can pierce through opponents with ease. These bones are drill-shaped, giving them immense penetrating power. The ability was taken from his own mother, showcasing his ruthless nature early on.

Stolen from Ragdoll, a member of the Wild Wild Pussycats, Search is a powerful reconnaissance Quirk. It enables All For One to track up to 100 people at once, identifying their exact locations and weak points. This Quirk makes it nearly impossible for enemies to hide or launch sneak attacks.

Warping

This Quirk is akin to the Warp Gate ability used by Kurogiri. Warping allows All For One to create black liquid portals that transport individuals or objects to and from his location. Though the range is limited, and it requires a close relationship with the target, Warping enables him to move allies and Nomu (artificial soldiers) across battlefields with ease.

Air Cannon

Air Cannon releases shockwaves of air from All For One’s arms, creating devastating attacks that can knock back multiple opponents. He typically pairs it with other Quirks like Springlike Limbs to amplify its power, making it one of his most frequently used offensive abilities.

Springlike Limbs

This Quirk allows All For One to enhance his physical strength by coiling his muscles. It not only makes his punches stronger but also boosts other abilities, such as Air Cannon. Combined, these Quirks turn him into a walking weapon of mass destruction.

Rivet Stab

Rivet Stab is a gruesome Quirk that allows All For One to transform his fingers into tendrils with red cracks. These tendrils can extend from various parts of his body, including his spine, and can pierce through almost anything. He often uses this Quirk in combination with Forced Quirk Activation to terrorize his opponents.

All For One in My Hero Academia has a variety of powerful quirks at his disposal, which he uses to devastating effect.

Forced Quirk Activation

Forced Quirk Activation is an ability that allows All For One to trigger someone’s Quirk against their will. Whether the target is conscious or not, this Quirk forces their powers to activate. When used in tandem with Rivet Stab, it gives All For One complete control over an enemy’s abilities, making it a powerful tool in his arsenal.

Impact Recoil

This defensive Quirk allows All For One to reflect the force of an attack back onto the attacker. In essence, it absorbs the energy of any blow and sends it right back at the opponent, making it an effective counter against strong physical attacks.

Hypertrophy

Hypertrophy enhances the size and mass of All For One’s arms, making them more powerful for both offense and defense. This Quirk is often combined with others like Multiplier, amplifying its strength even further.

Life Force

One of the key reasons All For One has lived so long is thanks to the Life Force Quirk, gifted to him by Dr. Garaki. This Quirk grants him near immortality by drastically slowing his aging process, allowing him to persist for generations.

Radio Waves

All For One can disrupt communication channels with Radio Waves, a Quirk that emits signals to interfere with electronic devices. It’s particularly useful in battle, as it disables enemy comms, cutting off coordination between heroes.

Hardflame Fan

Hardflame Fan lets All For One generate walls of flame to protect himself from incoming attacks. The flames are intensely hot and serve both as a defense mechanism and a means to damage nearby enemies.

Fierce Wings

Fierce Wings, originally belonging to the hero Hawks, gives All For One a set of bright red wings. However, due to the Quirk being damaged when stolen, he can only use them in their stub form. Despite their limited capacity, they still provide a mobility boost in battle.

Impure Beam

A devastating offensive Quirk, Impure Beam allows All For One to release concentrated beams of light that can cause large explosions. Combined with his power-boosting Quirks, it becomes strong enough to severely damage even formidable opponents like Gigantomachia.

Dark Ball

Dark Ball allows All For One to generate spheres of darkness that can be used for offense or to disorient opponents in the heat of battle. While not his most powerful ability, it adds another layer of unpredictability to his combat style.

Bloodlet

Bloodlet is one of the more grotesque Quirks in All For One’s collection, allowing him to expel and then retract all of the blood in his body at will. The ability to control his own blood makes him extremely resilient, even after sustaining critical injuries.

Antigen Swap

This unique Quirk allows All For One to change his blood type at will, making it difficult for authorities to track him through traditional means, such as blood samples.

Bloodcurdle

Stolen from the infamous villain Stain, Bloodcurdle paralyzes targets when they ingest All For One’s blood. Depending on the victim’s blood type, the paralysis can last for varying durations, rendering them immobile.

The Unnamed Quirks: A Hidden Arsenal of Devastation

All For One also wields a host of unnamed Quirks that add to his unpredictability and danger. These unnamed Quirks, though not as well-known, provide him with unique advantages in battle, ranging from enhanced mobility to devastating offensive abilities.

Unnamed Luminescence Quirk

This Quirk allows All For One to emit a glow or illumination from his body. While it may not seem as formidable as other abilities, its utility lies in providing light in dark environments or potentially disorienting enemies with sudden bursts of light. All For One stole this Quirk from the grown-up Luminescent Baby, who was the first individual born with a Quirk.

Unnamed Shapeshifting Quirk

All For One used this Quirk to manipulate his appearance, allowing him to disguise himself as a normal man. This shapeshifting ability was crucial in allowing him to infiltrate the Shimura family undetected while observing the young Tenko Shimura (Tomura Shigaraki). It’s a powerful ability for deception and espionage, making him even more dangerous.

Unnamed Mind Control Quirk

This Quirk grants All For One the ability to control a person’s actions simply by touching their head. He used this ability to command a Tartarus guard during his prison escape, forcing them to fly an emergency plane for him. The potential of this Quirk makes it a frightening tool for manipulation, turning allies into unwilling enemies.

Unnamed Levitation Quirk

With this Quirk, All For One can levitate and hover in mid-air, giving him significant mobility in battle. By combining this Quirk with others that enhance his physical strength or attack power, he gains a significant tactical advantage over grounded opponents.

Unnamed Razor Blade Quirk

This Quirk allows All For One to generate crescent-shaped razor blades from his body, which can be used as weapons in close combat or fired as projectiles. The blades are incredibly sharp and dangerous, making this Quirk a potent offensive tool.

Unnamed Ooze Quirk

All For One can generate a viscous, muck-like substance with this Quirk, which can dissolve or envelop targets and surfaces. The ooze is sticky and hard to escape from, providing All For One with a way to trap or incapacitate enemies in the heat of battle.

Gran Torino deserves more praise for his countless years of crucial contributions to the war against All For One in My Hero Academia.

Unnamed Mouth Quirk

This Quirk allows All For One to morph the flesh on his hand into a mouth, which he can extend to attack enemies. This grotesque ability is not only fearsome in appearance but also practical for combat, as the mouth can tear through flesh with ease. All For One can also manipulate the size of these mouths, ranging from small ones on his hand to enormous ones sprouting from his back.

Unnamed Vibration Detection Quirk

All For One uses this Quirk to enhance his senses, allowing him to detect vibrations in his surroundings. It works similarly to echolocation, compensating for his blindness and granting him heightened awareness of movements nearby. This Quirk, in combination with Infrared, makes it nearly impossible to sneak up on him.

Unnamed Glue Quirk

With this Quirk, All For One generates a glue-like substance that instantly bonds objects together. It has practical applications for both offense and defense. In one instance, he used it to repair his broken mask by combining it with the Rivet Stab Quirk.

Unnamed Force Field Quirk

This Quirk grants All For One the ability to generate a protective force field around himself. The shield is strong enough to block attacks and serves as a powerful defensive measure in battle. Given his already impressive physical abilities, the addition of a force field makes him even harder to defeat.

Unnamed Spatial Distortion Quirk

All For One uses this Quirk to manipulate the space around him. In one encounter, he seemingly killed Hawks by distorting the area, though it turned out to be an illusion. This ability to warp space adds an element of unpredictability to his fighting style, confusing his opponents and keeping them off balance.

Unnamed Body Appendages Quirk

This Quirk allows All For One to grow large appendages from his back. These can take various forms, often resembling wings or other extensions, and can be used for both defense and attack. When paired with his Black Lightning Quirk, these appendages amplify his destructive capabilities.

Unnamed Repulsion Quirk

This Quirk allows All For One to generate repulsive force fields or rings that propel him at high speeds. It’s a very versatile Quirk, enabling him to quickly close the gap between himself and his enemies or evade attacks by launching himself in various directions. It gives him an impressive speed boost, making it difficult for opponents to land a hit.

Unnamed Fangs Quirk

This is a mutant-type Quirk that gives All For One a fearsome, fanged jawbone, adding a predatory edge to his already terrifying appearance. He stole this Quirk from a servant in the past, possibly to gain their loyalty, showcasing his power over others both physically and psychologically.

Unnamed Hardening Quirk

This Quirk allows All For One to harden his skin to exceptional levels, making him much more durable in battle. The hardened skin can withstand physical attacks and enhances his overall defensive capabilities. It was stolen from a fighter in the Underground Masquerade, further strengthening his formidable body.

Unnamed Telekinesis Quirk

This Quirk grants All For One telekinetic abilities, allowing him to lift and manipulate objects with his mind. It’s an immensely useful ability, especially in situations where direct physical contact is impossible or impractical.
