One Piece: All known ancient Zoan Devil Fruits
Ancient Zoan Devil Fruits are one of the most unique fruits in One Piece. Here's what we know about all the leaks so far.
The vast majority of Devil Fruits shown tend to have a name that identifies their user's exact form. Unfortunately, not all Zoan Devil Fruits have achieved this distinction, and there are currently a few users whose exact powers are unknown.
6 Onigomo devil fruit
Allows Onigumo to transform into a spider
- First time: Chapter 420 (Manga), Episode 302 (Anime)
Vice Admiral Onigomo was one of the five sent to Buster Call on Enies Lobby. He firmly believes in absolute justice and swords seem to be his favorite weapon. His Devil Fruit allows him to transform into a spider, though the exact type, if there even is a specific spider, is unclear.
Onigomo primarily uses this ability to wield six additional swords in combat, in addition to the pair on each of his actual arms. This is somewhat similar to the sword style of Hachan and Hyuzo, who use their octopus-like physiology to carry additional swords. It looks like extra appendages have grown out of his hair, and it looks like he's using his Devil Fruit abilities to some extent. Any other potential spider abilities, like the use of webs and potential toxicity, seem to be of little interest to him, if he's actually even capable of any of them.
5 Epoida devil fruit
Allows Epoida to transform into a caterpillar
- First time: Chapter 553 (Manga), Episode 467 (Anime)
Epoida is the under-captain of the Whitebeard Pirates, who historically sailed with the ship's crew before embarking on his ship. The exact extent of his power remains unknown, but he is likely to be relatively strong as one of Whitebeard's subordinate captains, some of whom have been shown to trash the Pacifistas on par with vice admirals or collectively.
Epoida is apparently the only identified Devil Fruit user among the subordinate captains. His Unknown Devil Fruit allows him to transform into a caterpillar, but it's unclear exactly how it affects his fighting skills (if at all). His body appears to resemble the pattern of his striped shirt in a hybrid form. It is unknown if he can transform from his base form into a butterfly. Although if he did, he might look like Baron Tamago, who tends to switch between three forms in a cycle from egg to chicken. This aspect, as well as Epoida, will likely remain unknown due to her limited relevance in the series.
4 Dalmatian devil fruit
Allows the Dalmatian to turn into a dog
- First time: Chapter 553 (Manga), Episode 462 (Anime)
The Dalmatian is a vice admiral who, as the name suggests, has a devil fruit that seems to make him the iconic breed of dog. according to nest clubDalmatians are “capable of great endurance and a fair turn of speed.” While the Dalmatian's exact physical abilities have yet to be gauged in depth, these traits are likely required to become a vice admiral. The Dalmatian is almost always shown in his hybrid form, with his canine and human features both appearing on different parts of his face.

Zoan Devil Fruits give their users amazing abilities. These are the most powerful ones ever exhibited.
Instead of relying on weapons, the Dalmatian trained on Rokoski and strengthened his body to the point where he was even able to pierce Luffy's skin. In this respect, he is similar to various CP0 members who used Rokushki in combination with their Zoan forms. It's unclear how he compares physically to the likes of Rob Lucci, but as a vice admiral, he probably has some power behind his title.
3 Stousi devil fruit
turns Stussy into a vampire bat (?)
- First time: Chapter 860 (Manga), Episode 830 (Anime)
Stussy is a clone of Miss Buckingham Stussy, a slightly older pirate who was once acquainted with Whitebeard and his supposed lover. He was a product of MADS, an illegal research institute consisting of Vegapunk and other prominent scientists. Stussy acted as a mole for Vegapunk, becoming the masked operative of Cipher Pol 0 for over a decade without arousing suspicion.
During the Egghead Arc, he betrayed Luchi and Kaku when they tried to fight Vegapunk, removing wings and draining blood to kill his fellow agents. It is likely the product of a Devil Fruit, although its exact logistics are unclear. Notably, this Devil Fruit, despite not appearing awakened, is able to knock out users who have awakened their Devil Fruits, though it is unclear whether this is a testament to Stussy's power or the Devil Fruit itself. Due to the presence of actual vampire bats and the fictitious nature of vampires, it may be a standard or legendary Zoan. In some respects, it is similar to Patrick Redfield's Devil Fruit One Piece: Unlimited World Redbut it hasn't been shown to have its exact capabilities that put it squarely in the mythic category.
2 Pomsky
Turns Pomsky into a sea otter
- First Time: Chapter 1089 (Manga)
The vice admiral was one of nine people involved in what became known as the Egghead Incident on the recently completed Egghead Bow. Even compared to some of the other vice admirals, little is known about him other than his somewhat attractive devil fruit.

Despite their relative rarity, merfolk in One Piece are not to be underestimated, and quite a few are remarkably strong.
Pomsky's unnamed devil fruit allows him to transform into a sea otter. However, the inherent nature of Devil Fruits limits the Pomsky from one of this mammal's main assets: the ability to pass water effectively. Although sea otters are capable of traversing land, many of their characteristics are primarily directed towards an aquatic existence. Nevertheless, Pomsky went all out with an aquatic theme, using a maul with a shell-shaped hammerhead as his primary weapon.

An illusion of the legendary Zoans
- First chapter 233 (manga), episode 151 (anime)
These semi-immortal oligarchs are the public figures of Imo, the true rulers of the world. Each of them has a specific responsibility known as a “warrior god”, such as justice, finance or agriculture. Even with one of them being killed off and replaced, there's still a lot that fans don't know about these guys, including their alleged Devil Fruits name. Each appears to be an esoteric mythical Zoan, the rarest known variety of Devil Fruit.
Relevant forms include Itsumade (Marcus Mars). A monster bird, a Fengxi (Topman Warcury); A demonic boar, a bakutsu (Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro); A Skeleton Horse, A Sandworm (Shepard Joe Peter). A giant worm capable of swallowing everything and a gyuki (Jaygarcia Saturn). The strange cow-spider hybrids seem to have each “awakened”. With Saturn executed, it's unclear what kind of Devil Fruit the newest Elder, Figarland Garling, has or if he even has one.
