Climate protesters arrested over spraying orange paint on Stonehenge monument

LONDON: Two climate protesters were arrested Wednesday for spraying the ancient Stonehenge monument in southern England with orange paint after two bystanders intervened and stopped them. Just Stop Oil’s latest act was quickly condemned by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak as “disgraceful vandalism”. Labor leader Keir Starmer, his main opponent in next month’s election, called the group “pathetic” and said the damage was “outrageous”.
