The date of the festival continues

It's both sweeter and more painful than you could ever imagine

The rest of Taiki and Hina's history, which takes up more than half of the episode, is a wild rollercoaster of emotions. They did a really good job of portraying both sides of the love triangle, so depending on who you're rooting for, the date went wonderfully or horribly.

For Henna fans, this episode was more of a disaster. It is safe to say that Taiki and Henna did They grow closer, but not really in a way that bodes well for their future, especially for Hanna. Throughout the story, Hina gets her hopes up unreasonably high, thinking that a romance with Taiki might be on the cards now. Little did he know, he practically spent half of his time at the festival with his rival. Also, while Taiki was gone, Ito, a boy who had a crush on Hina, saw her alone and asked her to sit next to him, which she refused. Hana would turn down the other guys' offers because she wanted Taiki to be pretty, but that was like adding insult to injury because she knew that the guy she was holding the chair for would be hanging out with her friend afterwards.

The only silver lining for Hina happened at the end of the episode, where Chinatsu finally came to terms with the fact that he had feelings for Taiki, but said that he would back it off if it turned out that Taiki and Hina were dating. Sure, the situation could easily be resolved, but this is a romance anime. The protagonist is too dense to fix something as simple as this happens all the time.

“I wanted to ask you something earlier. Are you dating Chono? Your answer will… change how I feel about you as a housemate.” – Chinatsu is sleeping on Taiki

Chinatsu fans enjoyed the first half of the episode. Taiki encountered Chinatsu at the festival of caring for the little lost girl and helped her find her parents. Holding the hands of the little girls, Taiki and Chinatsu felt like two parents enjoying the festival with their child. After the girl returns, they spend more time together and can even watch fireworks together. Also, it's been heavily implied in the last few episodes that Chinatsu is finally developing feelings for Taiki, but fans actually hear her say it in this episode. In a flashback conversation, Karen asks Chinatsu if she ever sees her roommate as a man instead of a friend. Chinatsu answered with an emphatic yes, which would probably melt the hearts of every Taiki x Chinatsu fan everywhere.

Many misconceptions

The fog of love and war thickens

Hina looks at the fireworks

Even though it's a romance anime, blue box It hasn't really leaned towards characters having the wrong idea about each other every two seconds, but that all changed in this episode. Almost everyone here had some kind of misunderstanding about one or more of the characters, which can irritate the viewer, but was It's done in a way that makes sense, so it could have been worse. Here are some of the biggest misconceptions that arose during this episode.

  • As mentioned above, Hina is under the false impression that she and Taiki are getting close in the romantic sense. Taiki may have a better understanding of Hina now, but he still sees her as a close friend, so the feelings are definitely there. no Reciprocal

  • Ito, the man who loves Hina, is now probably faced with the assumption that Hina and Taiki are dating, which may come up in the upcoming episode.

  • Taiki, the dense hero that he is, is completely unaware that the two girls around him are now in love with him and thinks they both still see him as a friend.

  • The biggest misconception is the one where the episode ends. Chinatsu is now under the impression that Taiki and Hina might be dating, but he is too embarrassed to confront her about it. Chinatsu now clearly loves her and is considering acting on her feelings, but seeing her with Hina throws everything off.

Despite these misunderstandings being frustrating to watch, they will definitely make the next episodes blue box More interestingly, they set high expectations for the audience, as many viewers probably can't wait for the confrontations and resolutions that these misconceptions inevitably create.
