Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One games
what is that You thought Amazon's Prime Day was already gone. Yes, technically it is, but that doesn't mean you have to wait until next year for Amazon's next big sales event. You don't even have to wait for the organized chaos that is Black Friday. That's because Amazon's gap between the two, Big Deal Days, is back. It will be performed on October 8 and 9Big Deal Days are an opportunity for those who like to do their holiday shopping well and buy early.
Just about anything and everything you could want for less is likely to be on sale in some form or fashion on Amazon during big deal days. However, tracking down what you want with the biggest discounts is easier said than done. We've rounded up some of the best deals available to save you trolling Amazon during this two-day event, and in the build up to Big Deal Days since many of the sale prices start early. This particular center is dedicated to heavily discounted video gamesAnd whether you play on PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch, there should be something for less below.
PS5 and PS4 games
With Big Deal Days starting in 2024, the PS5 Pro pre-order period has begun. Some of you may even have been lucky enough to pick one up, be it a regular model or a PS1-style 30th anniversary model. As great as the latter looks, and as great as the games you'll play appear on both, they're expensive consoles, so why get some games for less while you can? Do not choose for it?
Of course, the PlayStation section of this guide isn't exclusively for potential PS5 Pro owners. There are some great sales games for those of you with a basic PS5, and even for PS4 owners who are happy to stick with the latest generation for a little longer. Even if nothing above can get you on your card right now, we'll be adding more deals to each section during the build to Big Deal Days and during the post-live event.
Nintendo Switch games
Even though the Nintendo Switch launched over seven years ago and we know a successor is coming soon, even if Nintendo tells us anything about it, its biggest games rarely drop in price. The Switch is almost certainly on its way to becoming the best selling console of all time, 21 of its games have sold over ten million copies, so good job Nintendo. I think it will survive if we get some of its games at a lower price.
All of that being said, since Switch games continue to sell well, even when they're on sale, it's usually just a few bucks saved here and there. With that in mind, we've tried to track down some of the biggest Switch games that, while they might not be that many in most cases, are available for less on big deal days and more likely to be available during sales events. . .
Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One games
The biggest selling point of owning an Xbox, despite recent price hikes and lineup changes, is still Game Pass. However, if you don't have Game Pass, whether you were never interested in the first place or the price hike has put you off, you can just treat your Series X|S or Xbox One like a regular console.
Sure, Game Pass is still a great deal, but it really depends on how often you use it. If you only play a few games a year, it might be cheaper to buy those games. Especially when some of those games go on sale, and right now some big games are available for less thanks to Big Deal Days. Some of the games above aren't even available on Game Pass, so grab them for less while you can.
